Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Parcel post can take forever depending on the season. I would not be concerned until it has been two weeks.

It was sent parcel post on May 3rd...I got a shipping notice on May 4th and there have been no updates whatsoever since May 5th when the package left Jacksonville! This was for my bd and that will be in a few days and I have a bad feeling that this purse is not coming! The estimated shipping time said 2 to 9 days, but I know it should have only been 6 days for the purse to get to me.

I called the post office in my area to see what they could tell me and they had no more info other than what is on the USPS tracking site. I paid through paypal so I "think" I am protected moneywise ( although I am not sure--I've never had anything from E-bay not get to me) but I want my Sketch bag!! I am sooo dissapointed but I don't know if I am getting upset too soon or for no reason yet.

Has anyone had experience with parcel post?? When do I notify paypal that I think there may be a problem. I guess I am wondering when I give up hope for my purse of getting to me! You have no idea...or maybe you do...of how upset I will be if I do not get my purse! I never really was inclined to spend all of that money on a Disney Dooney but this one really just got my attention and I loved loved it!

Hi! I will try to answer all of your questions. I buy & sell on ebay all the time & also buy from other sites that ship via Parcel Post.

I wouldn't give up hope yet!!! Parcel Post is sloooow. It can take up to 14 business days. Another thing is that once you get the "shipped" email from ebay or the seller, it doesn't necessarily mean it was actually shipped. If they marked the item as "shipped" on the 4th, they could have just printed a shipping label & then took it to the PO on the 5th. (once the seller prints out a shipping label, PayPal automatically marks it as "shipped" in your "My Ebay")

A second thing...I've had items shipped to me with tracking numbers & until the day before I receive it, it will say "left processing facility" in the city where it was shipped. I'm not sure why the PO system does this, but sometimes it does. Its very frustrating, trust me I understand what you're going through!

I would give it at least 2 weeks & if you still don't receive it, go into ebay & hit "contact seller" beside the item you won. Explain to them that you have been tracking the item & never received it. If they don't respond or do nothing about it, go into your PayPal account. Go into order details & at the bottom it will say something like "Report a Problem" and after you click that, it will give you some options. You mark the box that says "didn't receive item" and it will give you instructions from there. Its very simple & you will get your money back. Sometimes that process is frustrating as well. Once I had to wait over 35 days to get my money back! But the good thing is that the process is simple & you definitely are covered under PayPal & will receive your refund.

I hope that all makes sense. If you don't receive the purse & need help, feel free to PM me. If you have other questions, let me know as well! But as of now, I wouldn't worry too much! I'm sure your purse is on its way!

debating on the mickey faces purse the navy and white one....the "pouchette" seems small compared to my medium sketch tote, can anyone tell me how much fits into it? or pictures? i tried looking at the dimensions on the disney website but i'd like to see an inside view

I finally had decided to get the Med Sketch and it was sold out on Disney shopping! I was so dissapointed. I wanted it so bad...this was my first Disney Dooney. I went on E-bay and finally, after spending $50 more plus shipping found the one I wanted. I was soooo excited! Sometimes an item does show as shipped, but they might have just printed the label but not actually gone to drop off your package for shipping. This has happenned to me on more than once.

It is a much smaller bag than the totes. Here are some pics with my tassle tote to give you an idea of size. It's a lot softer bag though, so it does hold more than I thought it would. I can carry my blackberry, a wallet, sunglasses, and my large set of keys easily in there with room to spare.

I got this pink one for my daughter and the navy one for me. I really love the mickey one! All my non-Disney friends have commented on it too.

Just hoping for a quick truck from this point on! I couldn't wait to get home from work to check for an update but there was none so I appreciate knowing it can take 14 days! The wait is killing me though! lol

Forgive me because I have not been able to read this long thread. But I can't get over the mark-up for these bags right now. The Disney Store online only has a few bags available, and doesnt have the Medium sketch that appears to be the most popular. The bags on Ebay cost much more, so if they are getting a discount on them PLUS selling them for more online, then yeah they are making quite the profit...

Since I missed it here, is there anyway to re-post the stores that have these bags in Disney? I remember seeing the TrenD store having them. I guess I will wait for my trip in the hopes of actually picking the bag up at its regular price!

I don't know every store that has them for sale but there was a medium tote at MouseGears in Epcot with beautiful placement. I was tempted but am holding out for the DCL bag.

I also saw them at World of Disney and (can't remember name) a store at DHS.

SO, i originally had the cindy sketch tote. i sold it to buy the larger size tote. i decided that was TOO BIG once i got it. SO i sold it and NOW IM RE-BUYING a CINDY sketch bag!!!
