Has anyone tried to clean their white sketch bag? I have the original version. I have only carried it a few times but somehow managed to get it dirty on the back side. Any suggestions as to what I could use on it? I tried a damp cloth with a Ivory. Thanks

I have had that happen when we have been at the parks on my white sketch and this may sound weird but all I did was use an alcohol free baby wipe and it all came off completely.

I got some Disney Cruise line bags and a wristlet for mother's day

The wristlet has a perfect placement of Minnie on the front, the Cindy, and the large tote also have great placements!!!! The tassle tote is cute but too small for me, so I am done until new patterns come out.

I will post pictures soon-probably early next week.

I believe Dooney recommends a damp () cloth and mild soap on this particular material. I agree with the alcohol-free baby wipe recommendation, that is what I use to wipe mine down it if happens to get something on it. I hope you're able to get it clean!

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, they didn't work. At least the dirt is on the back side of the purse. I am going to see if Dooney makes a leather cleaner. Maybe that will work?

Has anyone with the Med Sketch had issues with the handles getting 'floppy'? My front handle isn't standing up any more and it looks like the handle is separating from the bag a little making it flop outward (and so much harder to carry on my shoulder - it was hard to begin with).

I got the bag on ebay in March so I don't have a receipt for it - does anyone know what the repair policy is on these? Seems like it is not holding up very well for what it costs.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

They do not recommend any kind of leather cleaner. The handles should darken slightly over time and any other cleaner or conditioner will likely leave them spotty and uneven in tone. The fabric of the bag is actually treated (polyvinyl coated) cotton material. It sounds to me like it might be a stain. Their website recommends using a toothbrush in circular motions with mild soap, that might work being slightly more abrasive than a cloth. The sketch style is the same as the Novelty Wonder Duck option. Hope I could help some, I've carried Dooney exclusively for a good number of years so I have a little experience but have never had dirtiness I couldn't remove. I really hope you're able to find a way to get it clean!

When carrying mine on my shoulder, I've noticed that the outer handle can tend to fall off my should so I cross the inner handle over the top of the outer handle which works well to hold it in place.

Hi, I got lucky! He knows I love purses and shoes and that is all I really splurge on, so he is ok with it. Besides, it is not like men don't have things they like to buy-hunting and fishing supplies and so on. I am sure once father's day gets here he will have a wishlist even though he won't be here. I will have to go to Bass Pro shop and that is a whole new world to me

I am still getting over being sick-something is going around everywhere it seems like.

Have you heard anything about any new patterns? I hope they wait awhile so I can let my bank account have a break-but not too long

At the risk of making someone out there gasp , what about one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? I've used them on floors and walls and they remove some pretty hard to remove stains. I don't have a box of them now or I would have read up on what they can and can't be used on. Might be worth checking out???

I keep checking back to the disney store website and it looks like the only sketch bag still available is the wristlet.....they dont even have the backorder option anymore. I was kinda hopin for the tassle tote eventually. I hope they list the cross body one at some point.

Does anyone know if the purses are still being sold in the parks & if so for how long? I keep checking the Disney site & all the purses are sold out except for the Wonder Tote (which is the one I really want) and the 2 wristlets.

Do you think they are phasing out these styles before the release of the new ones???

I'm not going to Disney until December & am freaking out because I don't think I'll get a Sketch or a Wonder! Anyone that's been there recently, could you give me any info on them?
