Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

I just received an email from The Disney Store asking me to rate my recent purchase. Do you think they really want to hear about how mad I am that neither Balloon bag had the D & B heart tag as advertised? I have decided to wait to do this and will work on perfecting expressing my dismay to them.

Any suggestions??

I received the same thing today and gave them my two cents. :surfweb:

I haven't done this yet either...but I am going to. I sent them another email today because the last one I received back on the medallion situation said they would take care of the "missing piece". This was after they first offered to replace the bag. I said no...not going to fix the situation. So they said, OK...we'll cancel the UPS pickup (they didn't...he showed up a few days later), and we'll send the missing piece. Well...no medallion still (I am not expecting them to send it...they don't have them, right?!?!) So I replied today to the last message I received...said I was very unhappy with how they are handing this...that I want what was pictured on their site and noted in the product description when I purchased both of my balloon bags. And that I want someone to contact me who can resolve the situation. I leave on Thursday for WDW and doubt I will receive any communication from them before then. :mad:
 
Disney emailed me about the medallion. Here's what I was told:

"We have been advised that the Heart Medallion for the Dooney & Bourke
will be shipped out soon. Although you may not have the Medallion by
Christmas, you will have it soon after. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may have caused.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. We
look forward to future opportunities to be of service to you."

So, it looks like they will make good on the medallion. :thumbsup2

That does sound promising! Keeping my fingers crossed for all the Disney Dooney ladies in need of a little medallion pixie dust! pixiedust:
 

I have sent multiple e-mails to Disney, including one where they said: "We do apologize. We can assure you we are looking into the issue. Please allow 24 to 48 hours to receive a response." Well, that was Sunday the 12th and I still have not had a reply :furious: I have not had a reply from the two e-mails I have sent to Dooney either :headache:
 
There is hope....because I just got back from the mailbox and guess what was there? Dooney mailed me the heart medallion with both the black and tan strap!!


My contact was Carol in CS. She contacted a parts specialist within Dooney and he mailed me the medallion. :cool1::thumbsup2

I emailed her my receipt and delivery confirmation to show proof of purchase. Persistence pays off!

The purse is now complete! I do have to say that I am going to rethink ordering from the website these purses unless I get a really good deal (which is how this all came about). I would also suggest to all of you to seek out the 15% discount that I got for this whole ordeal as well.

We will be in Disney for the xmas holidays. Arriving late at night on Sunday 12/19. Next day the kiddos want to go to Universal and see the new Harry Potter attractions. So, I am hoping to get to Downtown Disney Monday evening and see some dooneys in person. I am asking Santa:santa: for a new disney dooney pattern for xmas. I'll post pics when I get a chance if I see anything new:wizard: Last year,they started selling sketch 2 pattern with Minnie on 12/25:wizard: I will be using my disneyland

Dooney was fantastic re: the medallions! I faxed them my receipts last night at 11pm and I just confirmed that the medallions will be in the mail today!
 
Which looks better in person? The sketch crossbody bag or the disneyland 55bag? I want to get one for Christmas, but I won't be back to DL until the end of March. Thanks for any help.

Yes:). I did send Disney a letter expressing my frustration. I just spent another 45 minutes on the phone over this and they can't say when they'll be sending the medallions out. It makes giving them as gifts a little more difficult. Dooney's customer service was far superior.
 
So, I was not one who complained to Disney or Dooney about the missing heart on my balloon satchel. However, I just got an email from the Disney Store customer service saying that it should have been included on my new handbag and they will be sending me one in the mail in the coming weeks. The CS reps name is Mary. :)
