12/16/10 Continued:
This tea party drives me nuts for one reason. No parents. I love this sort of thing and would love to just be a fly on the wall watching Alice and the Mad Hatter interacting with the kids. I wouldn't even want to be in the middle of things. Just a little fly on the wall with a camera and a long zoom lens!
I have always sent a point and shoot camera in with Katie, but honestly, they are so busy having fun, she never has taken many photos. In the past, she came out with one posed photo with Alice and the Mad Hatter. And a few photos of the table decorations, but then nothing else.
This time I was quite pleasantly surprised to find out they had photopass photographers in the room with them. Did it really need to take them 2 years to figure that out????

Once the tea party was over, we visited the photopass kiosk on the second floor of the Grand Floridian, and we got to pick the shots to add to our account. The photos below were all taken by Photopass. You'll notice she insisted on bringing a replacement flamingo croquet mallet. She loved that Alice actually put a cupcake on the floor and played croquet with it!
