I just read the sample from the farmers almanac for the beginning of Nov. Get off this post now if you don't want to know!:(

1-3 squally rain
4-8 fair and cold with frost
8-11 rain through much of Gulf Coast

Please say they are known to be wrong!

Rain from Gulf States north.:( . If you want to read it for yourself go to www.farmersalmanac.com, click on weather at the top, then click the Florida aea on the map. It only gives weather for Oct and Nov.
Sorry.

Oh well... let it rain! I'll just pack less white and light colored tee-shirts!

Erin :D

Erin- My Dh encourages me to wear white t-shirts in the rain. What's that all about do you think? For some reason it bothers him when others stare at me though.

From what I have read and heard, the Farmers' Almanac accuracy rate is no better than other long range weather forecasters.

I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about it - you cannot control the weather! It's wise to be prepared, but don't let the prospect of bad weather spoil your trip! You will be at Disney! You will have fun!

Florida weather is notoriously hard to predict and yes, the Old Farmer's Almanac is often wrong. My husband jokes that the Florida meteorologists "phone in" their forecasts because they all sound the same and often bear no resemblance to reality.

I'll be there mid-November and I'm not a bit worried about the weather. Like New England, if you don't like the weather in Florida, wait a few minutes.

I would not obsess about it if I were you -- I'd take the advice of others and pack for warm days and cool nights with the rain ponchos just in case. I found that my Mickey ponchos worked as a good luck charm -- the days I carried them to the parks, it didn't rain. The one time I left them behind, it did.

Funny you should say that, Samantha, my DH enjoys the same thing! We're going to be at WDW the same time as you, guess we'll be able to rcognize each other!!!!! ;)

Chances for rain are probably good since I'm going then too!!!

I just checked the "Extremely Weary Underpaid Social Worker's Almanac" for December....and the forecast is picture perfect....can't imagine that the weather for November would be anything less....
Enjoy your trips everyone!!!:sunny:

Please send pixie dust for no rain on 11/7 (the cold I can deal with)! I know it's supposed to be good luck, but I don't want rain on our Disney wedding day! :(
