Oh my gosh. Got busy with tying up loose ends at work this week & have to catch with so many fridge & magic bands posts here! I'm LOVING the live updates!
We leave tomorrow!!! Aaaahhhhh!! Still need to pack & load the car. All I'm focusing on is getting there for a Sunken Treasure (or two) & asking for some wine "to go" from CL. See, I learned something here on the boards! I can anticipate difficulties transitioning into vacation mode. Sitting at SAB, looking around me (at reserved chairs with nothing but towels on them) wondering what's going on at work. Boy I have problems! Lol. Can't wait to hit the road.
I'm sure I'll be too excited to sleep tonight so I can thoroughly catch up with the thread & all the updates. We're almost HOME!

Yep I checked in at BC and then was walked over to the villa's by a very nice CM I might add! I've never been over there before, but there was a desk there with a CM there all day... not sure if this is normal or not. I know when I stayed at BLT in April I could check in at BLT and not just Contemporary, so maybe they are going that way.

There is a video on YouTube from 1992 (pre boardwalk) showing the tram, but it bangs a left instead of going straight to BC. I did not know if it ran another route

I checked the video out. It looks like the Boardwalk wasn't built yet. Thanks for helping to bring back those memories.

This weekend we have so much going on. Big party for my kids. They are turning 3 &7. How dare I have them 4 years &1 day apart. then it is disney, disney disney. Last minute items.

We have a friend at the YC right now with her family. I can't wait for an update and review. I will pass it along!

Can't believe that I will be at BC tomorrow DD wants to head over to DTD first thing after a lobster roll and pastry from BW bakery. Guess SAB will just have to wait!!

Kind of an off topic question....This will be only my 2nd trip to WDW ever coming up in October. Since I have been following the Disboards, I have noticed most people go quite frequently. I want to be one of those people. Lol

So.... How often do you go? Have you always travelled like that or is it more as kids get older/grown? Do you have a vacation other spots as well or just mainly Disney?

It's funny, I do two vacations a year that are family, a trip to Maine to bring DD to see my dad and stepmother, and either a trip to see or a visit from my stepsister and family, along with my Mom and stepdad. (Way too many steps but that's my crazy family!) I figure that with the vacation time I have left I really want do Disney where I can have a great time with DD and my best friend. Maybe that will change, but I am alway looking to add more Disney time rathe than go to other places. I also try to go to DLR for long weekends to help get through the wait between trips to WDW...

amazing day today(well yesterday)
We kicked butt over at mk in the morning. went to kona at 11 for breakfast. Back to Mk

We achieved double triple mountain whammy!!!

At 3:30 we took the mono to ep for spaceship earth sum of all thrills Mexico ride and churros. Back to beach club for the most fantastic dinner with teena at captains grille. Omg it was just perfect. Then mark and I went to ep walked around and watched illuminations.

Today ep and dessert party at mk tonight

Anybody interested in meeting up for a mini Dis Meet on August 8th (Thursday) ... maybe around 8:00-8:30 PM in the lobby of the BC? I'd say the Solarium but with all the rain we get at night, the movies are almost always moved into the Solarium at night. Princess Lily and her Mum would be able to attend too.

Let me know and if anybody is interested, I'll add it to our BC schedule.

Well a good friend is staying with her 3 boys and in laws at the YC as we speak. She sent me a message last night. She loves the YC it blows away the other resorts she has stayed at. (POR & AKL ) . She said her room is VERY clean. Mouse keeping is awesome. And she was shocked to see sand at the bottom of the pool. I know shocker right that is had no clue. He husband is the planner, she is a very go with the flow person. I chuckled .... She didn't know!

She loves it... Loves the area.... Can't wait to hear more!
