We will be checking in at BC on July 30th until August 5th . Deluxe room CL .
First stop on July 25th is Grand Flo , Sugarloaf CL ..........then on to BC .

I really feel like Disney threw a giant wrench in my plans with this whole Magicband FP+ thing! I think it is being offered to me bc when I sign in that thing pops up to link family members and customize bands but I am too afraid to do it. IDK what to expect from the technology and like the "old school" way it was done (Creature of habit perhaps?). On the other hands, my fear is also that there will be less regular FPs to distribute due to FP+...what do you all think?

With all the fun I had with linking tickets (4 AP and 4 tickets at work) and worrying that they are going to attach some of the FP+ to an extra AP which we are not using this trip, but still linked with all the other tickets, I expected to have a lot of issues with setting up FP+. I have not. I really enjoy the set up (as long as it works the way it should when we get there) I like being able to change the times as needed to avoid early morning (not morning people) avoid our meals (that could be hard with the old plan) and being able to change the times if their presets didn't work with what we might do. I am not a super planner, but know which park I am going to based on the table service of the day, was able to work around when we expect to go to church, when we might possibly go to DQ and/or a water park.

I had the same notice, went through the process of adding tickets, reservations and people...and nothing changed. When I click on the Magic Bands or FP+ options, they don't let me do anything. Reading other posts, it looks like we can see the options but unless we receive a separate email inviting us to the testing, we can't use the features yet.

Not sure but could it be a Canada thing? I thought I read something about only guests from the US testing currently.

Today at ep: soarin test track soarin living with the land nemo mission space test track maelsrom and then walked the world showcase.

Love the new test track!!!

Then a swim at sab lots of pictures and a sunken treasure.

Anybody interested in meeting up for a mini Dis Meet on August 8th (Thursday) ... maybe around 8:00-8:30 PM in the lobby of the BC? I'd say the Solarium but with all the rain we get at night, the movies are almost always moved into the Solarium at night. Princess Lily and her Mum would be able to attend too.

Let me know and if anybody is interested, I'll add it to our BC schedule.

I would love to be there, but I'm going to miss by one week. Would LOVE to meet the Princess.

If you're going to be around on August 1st, we'll be at Typhoon Lagoon all day. We'll get there when it opens and have one of the reserved spots reserved. August 2nd her Highness has lunch with Jake the Pirate and the Gang at Hollywood and Vine at 1:25 PM so we'll be spending most of the day there. It will be Mickey Mouse Playhouse over and over again with a Beauty and the Beast show in between. Not sure but on July 31st, if she isn't too tired from traveling the night before, we'll probably take her over to Animal Kingdom for the parade ... her favorite!!

I originally planned to be at the Beach Club 8/31 through 9/7, but arriving on 8/30. We were going to stay at the Hyatt at MCO, but now we are going to go straight to Disney. Our flight arrives at 9:45, so I'd thought the Hyatt would be a good choice. We need two rooms there. I was looking at the Disney site and saw that I could book a cheaper room at the YC, so I booked it for Friday. We'll have one night over on the dark side to check it out before heading over to the CL at the BC. We've got a GV room at the YC for less than we were paying for the Hyatt rooms.

Yes. 4th floor, end if the hall. Standard view room, but it looks like a garden view to us!!!!

Some last minute packing, and we're on a plane heading down TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping against all hope that we can jump on an earlier flight tomorrow morning. Either way, can't wait to get down there!
