Thanks. I will bring some but I have to let you know they are not like they used to be. They are smaller with hardly any cherries anymore. Mostly the cherry pie filling without the cherries. I'm very disappointed with them. It's a shame how things have to change.

A friend brought me some recently and it had been sooooo long since I had them that I didn't notice a difference. They tasted so good!!

morning friends!!! Enjoying my last cup of coffee out on the balcony here at the beach club. Speaking of coffee... I spied with my little eye two giant joffreys urns being installed in the marketplace yesterday.

We are off to hs this morning. It will be so sad to leave this afternoon but it is time. The good news about going at a breakneck speed is that you (almost) welcome the return to a slower pace.

One of the highlights of this trip has been hearing my teenager declare several times that this has been the best vacation ever.

What more can I ask?

welcome home!!! We will be headed to hs tomorrow hopefully for emh rope drop..but we also have checkout and luggage check in to deal with before we go.

Hope I get s chance to meet you.

I'll be scoping out HS all morning for you!!!!

You guys have had such a great trip.....rest us on its way :).

I just woke up to an email that stated that our MBs were on their way via UPS!!!! If this is indeed a "test" and MBs are meant to be re-usaeable then it is interesting that we are getting two sets for our "continuing" reservation (2 nights had to be reserved separately to get separate discounts). I suppose that is what "tests" are for....

I'm so sorry. Losing a pet is so hard. They are members of the family. I'm glad you are heading to WDW ... it will help keep your son's mind off his loss.

We are putting our close to 20 year old cat to sleep this afternoon. :sad1: Our girls don't know yet and the 13 year old will be devastated.

That is the BEST!!! Safe journey home Dee...

That is priceless!! The only thing my kids ever say is "When can we go back to the pool?" The last time we went we tried the morning park/afternoon pool/dinner and evening park touring plan and everyone was happy. Staying at the BC for the first time this year and my biggest fear is they will never want to leave SAB!!

Received and email this morning that my Magic Band have shipped and will be delivered on Monday!!! Checking in at the YC on 8/16!! Never received an email tell me about being chosen for a test. FP+ are all set so we will see what happens!!!

We too have received an email to inform us that our magic bands have been shipped to Yacht Club!! We will soon find out if it's true.

DS13 is really looking forward to this holiday he wants it to be special his English and RE teachers have demanded to see photos of him with Minnie Mouse (ROTFL) so that'll be interesting getting him to pose with her, we have some cute ones from when he was little ( we got him hooked on Disney as an infant) but he has had a growth spurt this summer already. Chances are he will be taller than poor Minnie these days. We think he's worked out where we are staying now but we hope he's gonna have a heck of a time at the pool and making the most of the day by taking breaks right after lunch each day and popping back for "pool time" for a couple of hours and then heading back to the parks if the crowds are not manic...there's a lot of us "Disers" staying next month I see . Can't wait to arrive and immerse ourselves in the whole deluxe resort experience and try out the club level lounge food and coffee etc.

Any more info on what's going on with the refrigerator situation? E would rather be minus a fridge and safe than risking a faulty one being in the room but it would have been good to have a safely working one for storing drinks and snacks in but hey safety is top priority we could make do without one . I could bring an insulated folding picnic / freezer bag from home and stuff it up with ice if needs be to keep items cold. It wouldn't take up much space in a suitcase that's for sure.

Fingers crossed that we have a pleasant journey and an enjoyable stay in just a few weeks.

Thanks to everyone who has pitched in and kept this thread going strong while Dee has been on vacation and we are so glad to know Teena and Bob are doing so well too. Lovely to see the photos of them with their family.

The trick it to time it so the pop up thunderstorms close SAB at just around dinner time. By the time they reopen, we're all dressed for dinner :)

Safe travels and hopefully I'll see you on September 1st (when I return from helping Jeanne set up her classroom and be a teacher's aide for the first week of school).

Great choices ... some of my very favorites. Fried chicken at 50's!!!!!

Lauren is so excited to get the fried chicken!!!!! And as we passed Cape May thus morning she said "Hello Beautiful"!!!! Haha.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone on this board for all of the helpful information! I just printed out my boarding passes and will be arriving at the BC for my first stay tomorrow morning! I also have noticed the love for Tastycakes on this board and being from the Philadelphia area I know how delicious they are. You really can't go wrong with any Tasty Cake treat. Again thanks a bunch!!!

Anyone ever taken a cab from YC/BC to Seaworld and back? Are they pretty easy to arrange?

One of our days will be over in that other, wetter World
