We had a room looking at this same courtyard, except we were on the third flood, just a few doors over from your room. We were almost above that little outside eating area that has a few tables. I never could figure out if it was standard or garden view, either. My husband thought he booked garden view. It wasn't a bad location since it was close to the elevators.

I originally planned to be at the Beach Club 8/31 through 9/7, but arriving on 8/30. We were going to stay at the Hyatt at MCO, but now we are going to go straight to Disney. Our flight arrives at 9:45, so I'd thought the Hyatt would be a good choice. We need two rooms there. I was looking at the Disney site and saw that I could book a cheaper room at the YC, so I booked it for Friday. We'll have one night over on the dark side to check it out before heading over to the CL at the BC. We've got a GV room at the YC for less than we were paying for the Hyatt rooms.

Hi everybody!

I had a little adventure that's kept me away from the list. I took the larva to Cici's pizza and we got trapped inside the restaurant! We made it back to Storm Along Bay only to find a mosquito tour group hogging up all the guests. Oh well... what are you going to do when it's the busy season....

In other news I have not been selected for that magic band trial. To tell you the truth I wasn't really interested when I discovered that priority dumpster diving wasn't offered.

I also am down in the dumps because I missed that dinner I invited myself to at the Captain's Grill when Teena and Dee were there. I too have a fondness for that corn risotto and I'm sure Teena wouldn't mind sharing a little with me..... right Teena?

Then to top it off Couchy, Catho and Nanette have come and gone. Who is going to rearrange the empty but reserved chairs at Storm Along Bay?

I'm just going to have to drown my sorrows in a maraschino cherry and wait for the next batch of you to come down. I'd better go find Dee before she sneaks off with out giving me a little sugar!

Anybody interested in meeting up for a mini Dis Meet on August 8th (Thursday) ... maybe around 8:00-8:30 PM in the lobby of the BC? I'd say the Solarium but with all the rain we get at night, the movies are almost always moved into the Solarium at night. Princess Lily and her Mum would be able to attend too.

Let me know and if anybody is interested, I'll add it to our BC schedule.

That's about 10 days too early for me! I'll be landing in Ft Lauderdale that day

Not sure but could it be a Canada thing? I thought I read something about only guests from the US testing currently.

No, not a canada thing, I could book. But had to use the MDE app on my iPad to book my FPs. But you would need the MDE APP, because we don't get the new web site yet. Actually I do on my iPad, and ordered my magic bands on it, but guess its not fully functional as I had to use the APP for FPs.
Hopefully they get this worked out soon.


Had a glitch though, as our APs expire mid way thru our stay. The FP+ is linked to ticket medium, not reservations. So I could only book FPs up to day of AP exp. then I have to wait till new AP is activated when our old one exp. to continue making FP selections while there.

Some last minute packing, and we're on a plane heading down TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping against all hope that we can jump on an earlier flight tomorrow morning. Either way, can't wait to get down there!

Yup. Posting at 3 am. I don't sleep well, at home or away but I manage.

Today at ep: soarin test track soarin living with the land nemo mission space test track maelsrom and then walked the world showcase.

Love the new test track!!!

Then a swim at sab lots of pictures and a sunken treasure.

It sounds like there are a whole lot of us from pa that are going to be bringing Teena tastykakes. You can't get tired of them though. Especially if you can't get them all the time. Is there anything else you might want? Besides the corn or tomatoes? Pretzels and cheesesteaks don't travel well if you can't eat them right away.

I am really looking forward to this trip now more than ever. My son's Guinea pig died yesterday after being sick for a few days. Just heartbreaking.

Thanks. I will bring some but I have to let you know they are not like they used to be. They are smaller with hardly any cherries anymore. Mostly the cherry pie filling without the cherries. I'm very disappointed with them. It's a shame how things have to change.
