Last year the pictures at 1900 Park Fare were included (we ate there at dinner). I am reading off the back of my not yet opened new photo pass plus case and it lists: 1900 Park Fare, Ohana, Spirit of Aloha Dinner, Chef Mickeys, Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, and Princess Storybrook st Akershus.

Thank you both so much for the info!!!

Are we related??

Is it bad that each time I see your user name.............I KNOW it has to do with Piano's..............BUT I immediately read it as "Pinot" :rotfl2: and then have to shake my head and re-read it. You'd swear all we do is drink all day, and I really don't UNLESS I'm on vacation :lmao:

:rotfl: Lots of people think it has to do with wine, for varying reasons. ;)

We have a long-standing tradition in our family. The very first thing we do when we walk into Epcot is to find a glass of champagne.

I have yet to figure out how I can continue that here at home and retain some semblance of professionalism with my students and their parents. :scratchin

Scott MC - I love those rooms! What a creative way to decorate with the turndown cards. And I just love the YC room!!

Ella - great job on those shoes and shirts...just love those shoes!!

Laura - I would go with the lounge breakfast...especially since you have other breakfast ADRs planned. My favorite part of CL is getting a quick breakfast and getting on with the day.

Okay, my husband thinks I'm crazy, but I know all of you would understand. We just got back from Disney World last Wednesday. School starts for my daughter on Aug. 21st. We have premier passes because we upgraded our Disneyland premium passes when we were in Florida. I want some use out of them before they expire on Dec. 28. It is hard to plan during the school year, even for a weekend trip, soooooo....I thought it would be fun to slip in a mini-trip to Disneyland from Aug. 13-16th. We would drive (6 hours) and stay in a cheap motel to keep costs down. Is that crazy or just normal for someone who hangs on the Disboards?

totally NOT crazy :dance3: live is short, take every Disney opportunity you can :goodvibes

I vote for the lounge breakfast since you have four other character breakfasts planned. We usually only do one nice breakfast buffet per trip. :)

I totally agree!!! The breakfast upstairs is really nice and the character breakfasts are super expensive ... not worth doing it more than once IMO. I'd rather use that money on WDW tshirts, etc. A character breakfast will easily cost a family of 4 over $100.

Hi all!
Maybe you can help me!:confused3 We are 66 days out and I know you can no check in 60 days out. It seems in the past, since I started following this thread that most of you didn't recommend online checkin. With the possibility of the Magic Bands and FP+ being available for us 10/5 (a big maybe, I know), and the fact that we WANT to try them, do you think online check in is a good idea?? We did book LV and requested full balcony on our res through our TA.
Thoughts would be much appreciated!!:worship:
And now back to my excited count down:banana::banana:

We did not do online check in, but the magic bands appeared on the my disney experience app. I have customised our bands and selected our FP+ rides and times etc but haven't had the magic email to say we're part of the test yet, but did receive this email to say the bands have been shipped to YC ( Presumably because we're from UK - Others have had the, sent to their address). Hope this helps.

Sounds like you received the info you were looking for about online check-in. The only thing I want to add is that you can do the advanced on-line registration ANY TIME after the 60 days prior to your trip. So if it looks like the magic bands and FP+ are going to come into play for your dates, or if there is another reason you decide you want to do it, you can check in at that time.

:goodvibes

Please add me to the list. We just booked a deluxe room at BC for 5 nights, May 2nd thru May 7th. We will be doing a split stay starting at the Poly.

Already gave you a :welcome: but I'm back to pick up all of the info from the past day or so.

:cool1:

Hello-

Excited for our 1st time! Staying March 3-7th 2014 with DD13, brother and Niece 11. My brother's first time at a deluxe. He didn't like the price tag so I am hoping he loves the resort. I booked GV and requested a daybed and either a balcony or patio. I will not be looking at a parking lot with this category will I? 7 months from today!

Updating mode- I'll get you on the list.

You should not have a parking lot view if you have booked a garden view room.

:)

So happy for you!! I know what this is like & it almost sounds better than any discount Disney can offer!
I'm hoping for the same thing!! I have RSD/CRPS II & I'm getting a pain pump adj tomorrow, it's one of the last ones I'll get b4 we leave & depending on this will mean that I'll have to be in a scooter or not...
Praying that you feel absolutely GREAT on ur trip!! Hoping ur new meds will work!!

Hope your appointment went well. Sending positive energy to you for your upcoming trip.

Hello! I just had a wonderful trip to YC. We had booked SV CL(only thing left, I was told at booking) found out at check-in we were placed in a pool/lagoon view room (5149.) We arrived at around 11:30 from Universal Studios. We were taken right up to CL and checked-in. Our room was even ready! It was our first time staying CL and it was fabulous. We ate breakfast every morning from the offerings in the lounge. The tables were always busy, so we brought our stuff back to the room. This was a relaxing trip (we were just at the BC in April) for us and we spent a lot of time at the pool and so we were able to take advantage of the club offerings throughout the day, which was nice. The staff was very courteous, always asking what they could do for us. We did have a fridge in the room and saw boxes of fridges in the hallway on our first day, as they were already replacing them.

It was good that this was a relaxing trip for us, because Disney was very busy with long wait lines (and I'm a christmas/easter time girl!), but I wasn't expecting it to be that busy. We went last summer in August right before DD's school started and I think that had helped with the crowds.

Overall, we had a great trip! :lovestruc Loved getting my Disney fix in. It was DD's first time to Universal and she agreed it just could not compare to Disney's magic.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us. So glad you had a great trip!

Well this is exciting news....

For our December trip, we were booked at BWI for a few reasons. Firstly, along with BC, it's our other favorite resort, and secondly, we wanted a standard or garden view, and BC/YC were sold out of those, soooo, we booked ourselves happily at BWI.

The only rooms available for our dates on the entire Epcot loop were Water/Pool view rooms at YC, so Dee, I can't believe I'm saying this, but could you ad us to the BOG list......YC-LV for Dec. 4-8 of this year.... WE'RE DOING CHRISTMAS AT THE YC!
This of course is in addition to our BC CL-GV room for next August...

Holy Mickey! I have TWO tickers and they're BOTH for YC/BC!
Is it time for a party?
I think so.

:banana: :dance3: :cool1::cheer2:

So happy to hear you will be back and then back again!!!

I'll add your dates!

:woohoo:

I've been lurking on this board for long enough ... it's time to show my face! I've got the best reason in the world for a first post - I just booked YC Club Level for November 16-23, 2013!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Official :welcome: to you!!!

I'll add your dates to the Be Our Guest list on Page 1 of this thread.

:cool2:

Card readers down, both new & old- whole system crashed- at EPCOT at International Gateway & been told at the front entrance also. Just advised 10 more minutes for it to be fixed. We're ALL waiting to go in. So much for an early start!

Manual entry, no scanning yet. At least we're in after a 25 minute hold up at the IG.

Yay! Finished the girls blinged shoes, just in time. And finished the last of the shirts over the weekend...

Love the shoes! Shirts are great too!

Teena - love the pics of Princess Lily, especially the one with Chip and Dale!

That's a bummer!!! But, I can ONLY imagine how bad the front of the park is for the REST of the people :sad2:

FYI they were also down at MK!!! Wonder if it happened at ALL parks today?

Scott MC: you crack me up! LOL!! Christmas at Disney is wonderful. The train in the lobby of YC is magical. :)

I can't wait! I was a little disappointed that BWI didn't have any availability on the discount, but after looking at how YC does it up for the holidays, I'm very eager to lounge in that lobby at night and take it all in. I sometimes wait for DP to doze off or settle in for the night, and then I grab my book and head down to the lobby of whatever resort we're at just to sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet.

Congrats on your Christmas trip! I believe it is a safe bet that you will have a lagoon or SAB view. When I stayed a night at YC with a GV I had a view of the quiet pool

Whew! Not that the quiet pool wouldn't be lovely, but I want me some SAB or a view of the BW. I'm sure between now and then I'll be peppering this board with ideas for room requests.

ScottMC, Thanks for posting the pictures. I love both bedrooms and of course your adorable cat!

Henry is such a good boy...and he loves that bed. He's on it most of the day.

What a cool idea for the turn down cards!!! ....And that getting stuff off of Ebay is genius!

As for Henry he looks like he had one too many "kitty" Sunken Treasures!

~NM

Henry enjoys a nice white wine from time to time, but it's his sister Grace who's the big lush. This picture went on our Christmas card a few years back with the caption "Naughty or Nice?" (No doctoring here...I left it out...she helped herself....and yes she only got one or 2 licks in before I yanked it from her...don't report me to the MSPCA!)

I love it :thumbsup2

Thanks! It's our little reminder of the magic.

Scott MC- I love rooms ! Especially all the little touches! So cool! Thanks for sharing!:thumbsup2

Thanks! Y'all don't think I'm crazy do you?

Scott MC - I love those rooms! What a creative way to decorate with the turndown cards. And I just love the YC room!!

I love the turndown cards! I wish BC/YC would use them! For anyone who's been staying there for a long time...did BC/YC ever use those cute little turndown cards? I especially love the BWI ones...

:woohoo:

I truly can't believe it! Here's hoping we get at least one or 2 warm days so I can get some SAB time!

Ooh boy. I hope that didn't disrupt your day too much! Fingers crossed that it's all sorted out before we arrive tomorrow!

Oh wow! That's the biggest computer crash I think I've ever seen. There were AP holders behind us in line & said they've never seen anything like it. Crazy!!
