Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is a pin and how to you qualify for one? Thanks!

When I call, they ALWAYS say, "I see you have called about discounts before". How scary is that?

Thankfully my dates are inside the extension of the %off GP deal. I don't have to call anymore and have them tell me how many times I've called in the past.

Thank You AlexWyattMommy, still no email confirmation of my additional payment and it was not showing up in my banking online, so I got brave and called Disney Reservations back , went thru the prompts and put in my ressie # and the automated CM says it can not find my reservation so then says let me try to find it another way and asks for my name, still nothing so it sends me off to wait for a real live CM to talk too.......ok long story short I give the CM my ressie number she pulls it up , all the changes I made are there includeing my additional deposit being shown, I was over joyed we chatted for a few minutes about the AKL in general and I was so excited I forgot to ask about the % difference LOL

A pin code is a number sent to a specific person ( non transferable) for Disney Vacation Promotions, it seems You can call and see if you have one attached to your name , they are issued from Disney Destinations, controversy over how these are issued , I would say sign up for a vacation dvd as mine came specific saying about my upcoming November Vacation and this was before I booked anything, all I had done was ordered the dvd and when signing up for that it asks when will your next vacation be .....Hope this helps and good luck getting a pin code

Does anyone know for sure if the discount on Villas is 45% or not???

FWIW, I got a PIN today that was for 40% off the Deluxe Villas. I was able to successfully use it on a BCV reservation for Sept., albeit with a little trouble from a CM on the phone who didn't quite know how it worked.

But, From what I understand about the PIN discounts, your PIN could easily be different than mine...

From what I've been able to undertand about the PINs, to qualify for one, you need ot be registered with Disney for one, so they can save it to your name/email address. And its just luck of the draw. I got mine from just browsing on their website checking rates and such for my trip and got the 20/30/40 PIN.
