I just got back from my annual trip and must say that although I LOVE USO & IOA, I got bored kind of quickly. I guess I knew what I wanted to ride and in what order, I went on a couple of rides that I didn't do last trip and remembered why I didn't do them last time. I also guess there wasn't really any new to look forward to. I think that it would have been more exciting to try a new ride or see something new, but I don't know if I can see anything new from Universal by the time I head over there again in January.

Please don't get me wrong, I will definately be returning, and I will still continue to recommend Universal strongly to everyone that goes down to Orlando. I guess that it just wasn't as exciting this time round. Dueling dragons was down (was there on the 23rd - Dudley was up and running!) and Spiderman wasn't working properly (some of the audio wasn't working properly) and they didn't have some of the single rider lines open (this was a downer too).

Oh well....maybe one day they will expand and get something new. Until then, I will still be an avid supporter of USO and continue to visit it every chance I get. I did get the best picture ever with Spiderman....It only took 4 tries. I think Spiderman thought I was stalking him!! :teeth:

Welcome back Jo. I too would love to see some new rides and shows at both parks. We go very often and after our next trip we plan to get back to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Hershey and see some parks on CA too. Like you, we'll still go but without new things to look forward to it will be less often.

We try to do something different everytime we go down. Last time we took a sidetrip to Busch Gardens Tampa. It just livens things up a bit. We hadn't seen Fear Factor either, so there was a bit of new stuff.

It is time for a new ride!!!

I can definitely see where you're coming from! After a trip with school in 2001, and our only family trip being all the way back in 1992, I couldn't wait to get back to Orlando. We spent a whole month down there this past summer and had an AMAZING time, but we got kind of theme-parked out. At least at Disney we did. Except for Soarin' and the World Shocase at Epcot, there's nothing we would want to do again anytime too soon.

This summer we're going back down to Orlando for another three weeks, but we're only going to Universal Studios (we're again getting annual passes). We're also planning on spending a few days at Busch Gardens in Tampa, visiting and eating at a few of the Disney resorts, and doing a few things in downtown Orlando. I have a feeling next summer we'll go somewhere else.

After a while everything does seem to get a little old. It's time for some new attractions!
