Here now. Love the resort in general but wow do the stairwells need some love. Looks like they have never been painted or even cleaned since this place opened.

What stairwells are you mentioning? If you mean the Fire Exits, they don't get a lot of "love" due to the nature of them needing to be available for Fire evacuations.

Yes daily housekeeping returned to the BWI in January, 2023 as well as all the other Deluxe resorts.

On a related issue that In Room Dinning (room service) has not returned to the BWI. Only the Grand Floridian offers In Room Dining (room service).

Are there any stairway/stairwell exits leading out to the Boardwalk from the Epcot end of the hotel?

None that I am aware of exiting on to the boardwalk area unless you consider the stairs from the lobby area down to the area right by the Flying Fish.

The Exits on the Inn side of the resort toward the Epcot side all exit into the Inn courtyard area. There is no exit like at the BC near room 1501 the provides you in indoor walk as close to Epcot as you can get inside the BC.

There is an exit on Floor 3 near room 3202 (last room in the BWI) that exits at the corner of the main building of the interior courtyard near the Convention Center that you could maybe consider a path to the end of the boardwalk by the Cake Bake Shop but you would need to walk around some work areas and the Loading dock. This is not a pedestrian area. It is meant to be a Fire exit.

What did you have in mind?

Jumping in here as we just booked a BB for our first stay at BWI CL this coming January. Looking forward to trying something new. We haven’t stayed in the Epcot area in over a decade, but we are bringing our young adult kids this time and thought that would be a great location for this stage of life. We just visited BWI a few days ago while headed to Epcot and really thought it was a beautiful resort with a lot to offer!

Officially at the Boardwalk Deli & Leaping Horse Libations 11 AM - 9 PM (at the pool) but only during their normal operating hours. Normally the Deli is open until 10 PM depending on the season. Late night, all bets are off for Free refill options at the Boardwalk.

When would you be visiting since there is work planned for Leaping Horse Libations and the Feature pool?

From January 11, 2027, through April 2027, the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas will be closed for routine maintenance.

Yes Carousel Coffee right off the lobby on the BWV side but I don't believe it is an official refill station. Its hours are 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM daily. @LadybugsMum was very close on the closing time.

We just got back and absolutely loved BWV. We had a studio (room 5065)- excellent view of the village green and even the boardwalk/ crescent lake). Just steps from the elevator which let out right by the gym/pool and easy access to the lobby or boardwalk. Could not have been more perfect. Booked a 1BR (garden/pool) for May with a bounce back offer. What location requests do you guys recommend? Anything that could mimic where our studio was?

Yes as a matter of fact there are (4) 1 BR Villas in that same block of rooms overlooking the Village Green very close to the actual boardwalk. They are on Floors 2-5 and the room number is x051 (2-5 for the x).

If you could provide a few other things that might interest you, I can take a swing at more suggested locations.

I was hoping for a long hall indoor walk just like the BC

I don’t know if it’s changed since I was there last fall but at that time Carousel Coffee actually had the large self serve coffee carafes in the morning around the corner where they have the seating area. I was told we could refill our mugs ourselves there any time they were out and if they were empty to stop into the coffee shop and they would fill the mug for me. It does close in the afternoon though so not an option at dinner time or later.

Thanks Dave- those room numbers will definitely be a request. I’m sure we’ll be happy regardless, but is there anything you’re aware of we should try to avoid? (Rooms without a balcony, etc)
