Ok, this is my first attempt at a pre trip or trip report for that matter. So don't hold anything against me. As for the title of my pre trip, I'll get to that soon enough. Some of you may already know!
The reason I've decided to do the pre trip other than lack of nothing else to do is... I've made a few friends here over on the planning boards, I'm addicted to these boards, and I just thought it'd be fun.
The Cast:
Me: I'm an overplanner and semi perfectionist that is trying to make the best trip possible for a bunch of ingreats.
They're really not ingreats but they don't appreciatemy efforts.
I have many flaws in my trip planning: I can be indecisive at times, I call CRO entirely too much (we'll cover that), and I put alot of stress on the smilies to get my point across.
I do have a goal that I would like to conquer on this trip and that is to conquer my fear of one of the rides at WDW. And I'll fill you in on that as well.
DH: Well what can I say about my fabulous DH? He really is great and for the most part has no opinion on the vacation and is easy to please, or so he says. He always develops an opinion at the most inoppurtune times. He enjoys WDW but can only take it in intervals of every other year.
As far as I know DH has no missions he needs to accomplish on this trip, other than bugging the fire out of me about Splash Mtn.
DD 11: She'll be 11 in June. She has been trying to suck all of the money out of us so that she can stay at GF or BWI. I almost took the bait on BWI when DH gave in but I had buyer's remorse and cancelled. DD is a great kid and she is a really big help around the house. She looks just like DH but acts alot like me.
Her mission on this trip: to eat like an adult. She's so excited that she gets to order off of the adult menu. She says she's going to order the MOST expensive thing on the menu.
DD 6: She's somewhat of a spitfire and a drama queen. She looks just like me but I have NO idea where she gets this attitude from. DH has a few ideas on that one but let's not go there!
Her mission on this trip: will be to pout at least once a day for the entire legnth of our stay. There is no charge for this, her talents are amazing. She can do this on command or w/ out warning. DH normally takes the bait, sucker. I get ticked.
We will be arriving on September 2 and leaving on the 8th. We have free dining and will be staying at AKL. I'll go over all the resort anxiety and drama later, as I don't want to tarnish my image just yet.
I really hope that you all enjoy my pre trip and feel free to give any advice or opinions. Next I'll go over the Splash Mtn ordeal.
Cya soon!
