The codes and rates are basically just the typical discounts they give to everybody. I noticed this a few weeks ago. My sister who hasn't been down in a few years got a pin code in email. I was all jealous, then a few weeks later Disney released the spring codes that are available now. They were the same exact discounts my sister got. Its like they do with everything. Codes come out for Visa cardholders, then a few days later, AP holders, then they are released for everyone.

If you want to know when a code will be available for you, check out mousesavers on the internet and see when they were released last year for the time you are going. They will be released around the same dates this year. I've been doing this for 10 years and have never gone to WDW without getting a code.

Edit: It looks like your going at the end of June. Last year the discounts for this time were released on May 7th.

What link did you go to, to see when last years codes were released...we are going April 2 - 9, just wondering if anything was released for these dates last year...thanks

Took 9 years for me to get my first pin.

I live in NY, and seems to me, maybe Im wrong but NY didnt get pin codes this time around

Or Californians!! I am like you, OP, b/c I have tried every dance under the sun and still nada, bupkes, zilch.
I am frustrated as well. It's hard to see others receiving them and not using them and I feel they are 'wasted' when they could benefit people who are able to use them, kwim?
I try not to lose sleep over it. I have a nice resv booked at the Dolphin and we will likely stay there anyway, but it would be nice to have some options available. This has been me the last two weeks >
My eyes are blurry from checking and checking and well, you get the idea!

I've been to WDW 15 times in the last 14 years and never have I gotten a PIN!!! The most frustrating part of this is that we get mail with codes all the time addressed to someone who has never lived in our house and can't use the codes because the name is wrong. Disney can't remove this person's name/address because only that person can change this. My husband and I built this house and are the only family who has ever lived here!

I know you how you feel. i'm waiting and waiting for free dining. Last year 2 weeks after we got back from Disney we got our first and only pin, that had to be used in like 2 months. While I would have loved to go back 2 months later, my wallet had a different opinion

We got the same e-mail. I frantically scrolled to the bottom of it hoping for something to really encourage me to need that DVD.

I JUST THIS MINUTE received a PIN.

It's for exactly the same dates and offers as the public offer I mentioned above.

So.. no big win there.

Dh and I have only been to Disney World once, and that was 6 years ago. We didn't even stay at a Disney resort. I have tried whatever I can to receive a PIN, but no luck. I even have like 5 emails set up with them and haven't gotten a single one.

Our first trip we went during value season and then used AAA for 20% off our room rate. I felt like it made for an affordable (Disney) vacation.

Never received a pin but have gone during the general public codes for free dining twice and hope to go again this year. Good luck to you!

We get pins all the time, sadly they're never for us. They are for my in-laws who all live in another city. I get so excited and hopeful when I see the e-mail then I open them up, and they say "The Blank Family" and the I read the names, Martin, Tom, Mike.... The irony is that we are the family that plans and goes every year, while they have no idea what a pin is and or how to use it. When they want to go to Disney they call me and ask if I can get them a discount with "my" secret codes.
