Done It Once, Don't Need to Do It Again...?

Totally agree about Sounds Dangerous and the Astro Orbiter. I also could definetly skip the Winnie the Pooh ride...too long of a wait for too short a ride...I say bring back Mr. Toad!

Speedway in Tomorrowland - long line...lame ride

and

Snow White's "Scary" Adventure - not scary and not an adventure...just boring.

:teacher:

Swiss family treehouse. Been there, done that. No reason to climb all those stairs again.

Spaceship Earth is totally lame. Did it once in Aug 2000 and once more in Feb 2003 when my sister came to Epcot with us.

"The lines of communication started a long long long time ago...

Now thanks to AT&T we can communicate with everyone all over the world in the blink of an eye"...BLAH BLAH BLAH.

So lame.

Please, no flames it is just my opinion!

Can't remember the exact name, but it's the fairly new show in Frontierland - Goofy's Jamboree or something.

i believe it's Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree......

the "Sounds Dangerous" seems to be popular on this thread. since we plan on visiting MGM next year, i will bump this to the end of the list. doesn't sound like a "must do" for my family. thanks everyone--:wave2:

For:

1. Riding the go karts....
2. Eating at Tony's Town Square
3. Eating at Liberty Tree Tavern
4. Waiting for and/or Watching Share a Dream Come True
Parade
5. Going anywhere near the cheezy midway games in
the Animal Kingdom (Walt would bulldoze them!!)

hddr( imo overpriced blechh food and entertainment:bored: ...however given it's huge following maybe we should try it again ), ohana's( too much food, crummy service, overpriced, might do if we had a group that wanted to go but not just ourselves), fantasmic( well that is husband's idea, i'd probably go again)

No flames just bewilderment. Spaceship Earth is a classic ride and quite breathtaking when you get to the top. I can accept everyones opinions and not be concerned because everyone is entitled to them. I am a little sensitive about the classics because they are a dying breed and I hate to see that happen.

I find "Sounds Dangerous" reminds me of when I was a kid and the only entertainment was the radio. We used to sit in the dark and listen to so many programs, Superman, the Green Hornet, Gunsmoke, etc. The mind can be so much more graphic than any acted out (staged) visual. I found it to be a brave addition because I can just imagine the job that some imagineer had to do to convince the suits that it was a good idea. Lets see, you want to have a theater with a screen and it goes blank and all you hear is sound and have a few physical effects but that is it? Am I understanding you correctly? What a salesman! It did, after all, replace the sound effects show that was previously there.

I don't do the kid rides more than once usually. When my children were little I rode them with them and basically for them. The speedway, astro (wasn't astro then, can't remember the name) I still do see Peter Pan but Snow White and Pooh are of no appeal to me. Never have done Dumbo, and probably never will.

Gosh....the only thing I could think of is Tom Sawyer's Island. Of course, there are some rides/shows that I would do maybe every other trip like the Country Bear Jamboree. (It has been a few years since we saw it, but plan to see it again in December.) Other than that, I'm not sure if there is anything that I plan to never go on again. :teeth:

I don't think I've seen this one mentioned yet (although I could be wrong), but if I never had to sit through the Indiana Jones show again, I'd be a happy girl! Every second or third trip, DH drags me to it yet again & it's just sooooo lame & boring! UGH!

my ds (5 1/2yo) wasn't thrilled with Dumbo either. (his favorites are Space Mtn. & Buzz).....but, you may want to do it first thing before any line forms.....it IS a nice view, but, that's about it!!

Once is enough for:
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse-too many steps
Indiana Jones
Prime Time Cafe
Sound Dangerous
Indy Speedway-but dd luvs it-she's 4
Pooh bear ride-just not a "pooh"person

In no Particular order:
The Enchanted Tiki Room
Hall of Presidents
Journey Into Imagination with Firment

Would you believe...Space Mountain? I rode it twice as a child and once as an adult (just to show my kids it wouldn't kill them) and would be content if I never rode it again. Ditto Thunder Mountain. I'm just not a roller coaster person, that's all.

Also, that Bug's Life thing- It's Tough To Be A Bug? Never, ever, ever, EVER again. It's the only thing we ever did at Disney where we came out with crying children. I swear, I had nightmares after, and whatever the heck it was that pokes out of the seat back caught me right between the shoulder blades and left me with a pain all day. NEVER again.

In fact, having spent a day in the Animal Kingdom, our whole family of five has agreed that we could probably live without visiting the park at all again. We only really enjoyed the Lion King Rocks, and the safari, but found that the safari shook way too much for my DH (arthritis in his back) so we likely wouldn't do safari again anyway.

Lets see here the first thing that comes to me is:

"It's a Small World"
I can still hear the song in my head, over and over again

Sounds Dangerous

Also the games at AK, how tacky I think they could have thought of some better use of that section.

Add my vote for Disney Quest. DS likes it, but I'm just glad we had UPHs when we went. If I'd paid that much, I'd have been very annoyed.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

Definitely Small World. Most annoying ride ever.

I hope I'm thinking of the right name but The Great Movie Ride. The one where you ride on this platform carrying several rows of seats and you go through and look at scenery of various movies. What a snoozer!! Waiting in line was torture enough. We barely moved and they showed the same few clips of old movies over and over again. Then my second choice would be Ellen's Adventure. I've only done both of those once and never again!

Body Wars - ugh, makes me nauseous

Country Bear Jamboree - it was cute as a child, but no fun anymore

HDDR - I know others love, but I thought it was toooo cheesy, and didn't like the food

Any of the little rides like teacups, aladdin's carpets, astro orbitor - maybe when I have kids, but for now they're boooooring!!
