Mears return to MCO

I still haven't been able to find out how to schedule Mears Connect homebound to meet a person as opposed to meet a plane. At the airport.

That is, get to the airport at a specific time of my choosing.

I am not averse to arriving at the airport unusually early. It is always desirable to plan things so there is time to do a Plan B if something goes wrong with the original schedule.

You could find a flight that departs a couple of hours after you wish to arrive at the airport and plug that in; otherwise call Mears and see what they would suggest.

We've taken Mears from MCO to resorts, but always Uber going back. The timeline Mears gives everytime I look at it as an options would be hours before I actually need to leave.

We'll be traveling from ASSports to MCO for a 10:10am flight; we have pre-check and will be checking a bag with SW. Will Mears want to pick us up before 7am? We'll have a long travel day and would like to cut down on 'extra' travel time. Has anyone tried giving Mears a 'later' flight time (say, 10:45) to get a slightly later pick-up time?

I guess my other option is Uber. If I want to be at the airport at 8am for my flight, at what time should I call Uber? I've never used it before.

Your Mears Connect pickup will most likely be between 6:55 and 7:25. Don’t give them a later flight time. You never know what could happen traffic wise and how many stops they will be making before heading to the airport.
I would want to be in an Uber by 7:15 if you’re wanting to be at the airport by 8, so I would hail it via the app between 7:05 and 7:10.

@leebee: You can email Mears and ask what time they'd pick you up and they'll e back. I've done this before. As long as it's not the day of the flight, you'll get an answer back.

If I had to guess, I'd say that for a 10 am flight your Mears Connect pickup time is going to be closer to 6 am than 6:30.

It’s also worth noting that most rideshare drivers in Orlando drive for both Uber and Lyft. You’ll have no problem getting a ride with either platform.

Yeah... I emailed Mears and they said it'd most likely be a 6:30 pick up time. Uber/Lyft it is, I think.
