Donald's Safari Breakfast

Has anyone eaten at Donald's Safari Breakfast? What was it like? Was the food good? Did the characters interact a lot, and what characters are there besides Donald?

We went back in March and we loved it! The character interaction was great. Each character came around about 2-3 times. The food was awesome! DH ate FOUR times! They give the kids little shakers and they get to dance and do little parades. It is very noisy but very cute!

The food is good and yes the characters did interact . It was fun.

Tusker House has some of the best buffet foods in any of the parks. I ate there in Sept. and enjoyed the food. I have another post somewhere about what happened to us, but briefly I'll mention just make sure you get a fairly early ADR and arrive early for it. We had a 10:30 ADR and ended up waiting about 35 minutes after arriving (early) to be seated. Our breakfast was cut short as they started switching over to lunch shortly before we were able to get our second plate of food. And mind you we took the approach of getting small portions so that we could try more different food items. It was rather disappointing that the lunch switch happened so soon and we were not seated in a decent amount of time. Other than that the meal and the character meet & greet was great! My DD who was even so tired she wanted to sleep at the table was beyond excited when she was able to get time with the characters.

I'd have to double check, but I believe there was Donald, Mickey, Daisy, Goofy, and Minnie.

We loved it...Awesome food...and there was safari donald, safari daisy, safari mickey and safari minnie....

The characters interact alot...All of the character meals are fantastic for the character interaction...

I thought it was a good buffet--food was good and characters were
fun. I find the location of Tusker House conventant on AK park day.
We arrived for Rope Drop and were able to take the Safari then
head over to eat breakfast here and it was great.
I love Donald and Daisy and there's Goofy also.

We thought it was the best breakfast buffet! The food selection is fantastic. This trip we're going to dine a little later (around 10am) to enjoy more of the brunch options they serve.

DH is not a breakfast fan and he requested to go back.

My boys loved the character interaction!

Highly recommend it!

Excellent buffet....HUGE variety of breakfast items. I can't imagine someone not finding SOMETHING that they like at this meal.

Buffet is set up in stations, so you can go from place to place without waiting in one huge long line.

Characters were very, very cute in their safari gear.

The jambo juice was yummy, yummy, yummy (and even thoroughly enjoyed by my very picky kiddo...I bet he drank a full litre or more).

We had an 8:30 a.m. ADR, were seated early (even after waiting to get our family pics done), and were in line for the rides as soon as they opened. It doesn't get any better than that!

We went over Thanksgiving week and thought it was great! Good variety of food and the juice was delicious. My family loved the tator tots.

Characters we saw were Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.
