:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

So, uh, hi. How've you been? What's new?

I sort of fell off the planet for a few months, but I'm back, if you'll have me. I've even been keeping track of my miles, but I am guessing Big Vic would bust a gasket if I gave him 3+ months worth of info to enter, huh?

So, I'll start with this past week and start fresh from here on in. The bad news: I ripped open the bottom of my foot several weeks ago, greatly curtailing my running. The good news is that I switched to doing a whole lot of biking to enhance my very slow painful walking, so my miles aren't too bad. The mediocre news is that i am heading out for the DL 1/2 in a few days, and if I can hobble across the finish line, will have decent numbers for that week, too!

So, for the week ending Thursday, August 21st:
Miles: 87.5 (biking, limping, crawling, etc)
Minutes: 582 (including cross-training time)

Hope you all are doing well. I skimmed the thread and saw some damn impressive numbers! Keep up the good work!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I seem to remember, a long, long time ago, a team member named Erica. Could this be her? :confused3 :lmao:

I'll put you back on the roster.

Welcome Back HeyMickey We have been missing you around here. I do hope your foot heals quickly. (But the bike is a great way to get some big miles.)

Brother Vic - I am sorry for being late again. It has been crazy busy here for the last couple of weeks. But enough of my little excuses. Here are my totals!

Miles - 93 (This does include double miles for my first race.)
Time - 10.5 hours

I am going to try to get Liz's numbers for the past couple of weeks to help get her caught up. She is presently on vacation but still training.

Reminder One of our own stars here, Ironz (Betsy), is competing in the Canadian Ironman on Sunday. What an awesome test of endurance and pure will!!! I am not sure what time the race will be or if any of it will be aired on tv. But I think it would be great if we could give her all of our support in any way possible. If you want to just have a private moment to send her some positive energy or if you want to come on here and give her a shout out. I am sure she will appreciate any and all that we give her.

Come on Betsy! We are all behind you!!:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:  :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yay - go Betsy!! :dance3:

I am posting results from last week, and also this current week - I am off to WDW on Tuesday and may not get another chance. If I do any training while I'm there I'll just add it to the following week.

Week of 8/15:
Distance - 12.28
Time - 150 minutes

Week of 8/22 (including double race miles for this morning's 5K):
Distance - 16.86
Time -157 minutes

I'm going to try to get in some workouts on vacation, but I'm not making any promises! Have a great week!

Go IRONZ!

My numbers for the week:
26.6 running = 3:40
weights = 60 mins

Good training all.

Hey Triple D's,

Hi, team...

I did Ironman Canada last weekend. It didn't really come off as planned...it took me about 2 hours longer than I hoped. Still trying to figure it out. A bit disappointed, but also proud of the fact that I didn't quit.

Will write a nice RR this weekend, I hope.

Thanks for the cheers!!
