Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

BIG VIC...The training totals you have me down for in 2nd week of July belong in first week of July. (132.3 miles/11:15)

For July 8-14 week, sorry I didn't post in time, as I was travelling and ran out of time:

I did: 3.1 miles swimming/ 2:50
134.5 miles biking/9:00
19.5 miles running/4:30

For totals of 157.1 miles/16:20 hours.

and...for 3rd week of July, I have:
Swim: 3.4 miles/2:30
Bike: 100.2 miles/6:40
Run: 6.0 miles/1:10

for a total of 109.6 miles/10:20 hours
(didn't do my long run...but watched an Ironman race for 17 hours) ;)

That should get me caught up.
Last big big weekend coming up!

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Your awesome Betsy!! Now, go kick some tail in Canada. I know we will all be cheering for you!

Bryan:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

OK. Here we go again. Another week has gone by and we are doing great and I am late in getting my time in. Sorry Vic!!

Miles - 130
Time - 17 hours

Today is going to be a good day for my training as well. I am planning, if the weather holds off, to do a 13.1 mile walk/jog. The only thing that scared me is that my new shoes haven't gotten here and my other shoes that I use are not the most supportive. But I will be smart in my training. If I need a break or need to stop, I will so I can live on and train another day.

Have a GREAT weekend everyone! Let's keep moving.

Bryan

Hey guys! I'm back on track with running (although a little short this week since I was driving home last weekend during my long run time). However, I am finding it difficult to add any cross-training. Any tips, or motivating kicks in the behind?

I am just 7 weeks out from my first half marathon, and will be upping the mileage each week.

This past week:
Miles - 9.06
Minutes - 113.3

Have a great week!

Hello there Team Triple D! The week and month is almost over. We only have a few more days to try to put up some big numbers as a team. We are still leading the overall competition but it seems like the totals are getting tight. So I want to just make a polite plea to all to make sure that we get our numbers into Vic on Friday so he will have a chance to get us all updated.

You are all doing tremendous and I couldn't be prouder than I am of being on this team.

Let's all have a great week and finish up strong!

Bryan:cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi guys! Sorry I am a little late, this is my total for last week (20th - 26th). Very low week, I had to bring my son to camp every day and couldn't be too late getting to work, so I only rode three days and only did half the distance. I did go running one day, 3 miles in 25 minutes, and my biking was 44 mils in 175 minutes. This week will be better, I have already ridden 67 miles, with 12.5 more to get home, and I am running a 5K tonight.

Have a good week!

BIG VIC....here are my totals for the last week of July! And please update the spreadsheet to show the corrections for the first and 3rd weeks, per my post #620 above. I've had a big training month and want to make sure the team gets credit! :thumbsup2

Swim: 2.6 miles/1:45 hours
Bike: 133 miles/9:10 hours
Run: 22.8 miles/4:50 hours

Total for last week of July (through 7/31) is: 158.4 miles/15:45 hours

One last big week of training or so before I get to taper.

Have a good weekend! I'm going to DL! :goodvibes

Hey Team,

I seem to have skipped last week's numbers.

20.97 miles/174 minutes

And I've finished today's run so I can post this week's totals as well before I forget.

22.53 miles/199 minutes

Take care everyone.

Wow - I guess I need to report for the last 3 weeks and then again after I do todays miles to report this week.

According to the dates on the spreadsheet (which are different than my dates - I think because the spreadsheet doesn't break into exact weeks but goes by the month - since the begining of the spreadsheet I have been reporting the same days of the week (Friday thru Thurs) so I think it will even out in the end)

6/22-6/30 - 7.2 miles 1 hour 28 mins
7/1-7/7 - 13.1 miles 2 hours 45 mins
7/8 - 7/14 - 9.5 miles 1 hour 56 min

Thanks for keeping up with this!!! Go Donalds!!

Hey Team, life managed to get in the way of everything the last 2 weeks. So my numbers are

Week ending 7/25

10 miles
83 minutes

Week ending 8/1

0 miles
0 minutes

I hope to get cack on track soon.

Keep up the good work.:thumbsup2

Good morning Triple Ds!!!

Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of weeks. It's been very sad, and very busy around these parts.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It's much appreciated.

Please check the numbers on the spreadsheet. I updated it this morning. Let me know if I need to amend anything.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Betsy - Great job with the training!!!

Everyone - Keep up the great work!

:)

Just wanted to add my total from this past week.

16.6 miles (included the double miles for a horrible 5k race that I did last Saturday evening) and 3 hours 19 mins.

Everyone is doing GREAT

Everybody is doing wonderful.

Big Vic No apologies necessary. We all understand that a bad side of life got you down for a while. We just want to be able to support you the best that we can. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

My miles and hours were sabotaged a little this week because of work. I was planning on putting up some good numbers this week both walking and riding and finishing the month of strong. That's ok. I have a 3 day weekend and I am going to train hard to make up for lost time.

So my miles for last week are:

Miles: 60.75 (That is including my first 13.1 mile walk/jog ever)
Time: 11.25 hours

Brand new month here now so let's conitinue or dominant streak. You guys are awesome!!!

Betsy Have fun at DL!

Bryan

My totals for the last week in July:
10.3 miles 365 minutes - walking/cross training

:cheer2: :cheer2: Go team!

Posting totals from a yucky week. It has been SOOOO unbelievably humid this week, my training has really suffered. I did 3 runs totaling 15.7 miles in 3 1/2 hours as well as 1 hr, 15 min cross training. I feel exhausted and beat down, mainly because of the heat and humidity. I'm moving to northern Alaska for the next month and a half, then I'll be home (I wish). Have a great week, ya'll:thumbsup2

OK, my totals for the week:

Time: 207 minutes (running & cross-training)
Miles: 14.2

It's been pretty hot and humid here as well! I'm trying very hard to stick to the shade, and make sure to bring some water along.

Great work in getting through the summer everyone! :cool1:

Good morning Triple Ds!!

Hope your training is going well.

Please check the spreadsheet. Some have given me totals for last week, but I already have numbers plugged in.

Let me know what I need to move around.

Thanks!

:)

Hey Vic! If you would, please add the 60.75 miles and 11.25 hours that I did last week.

This week is going to be a lot better for me as I am already at 55 miles and 7 hours of time. I am looking for some big numbers.

Bryan

I think I missed a week again...don't punish me too bad Vic.

The week before last was 21 miles in 270 minutes.

Last week was 17 miles in 250 minutes.

Bill

Good Morning 3D's! I want to report my mileage for this past week, from Sunday the 27th to Saturday the 2nd. I had 150 regular bike miles, in 9 hours. I also did a 20 mile bike race, so add 40 miles, and another hour. And I did a 3.5 mile running race. (not sure why it was not a 5K) so that adds another 7 miles, and I did that in 27:20.

I asked once before, is there a preferred reporting period, or is the Sun to Sat OK?

Have a great week everyone! Get out and be active!
