Curious question for Non-Florida Residents with Annual Passes

Currently for those out-of-state, you only have 2 options for APs. Current purchase prices listed; renewals will be cheaper:
$1629: Incredipass - top tier AP with top tier price
$1099: Sorcerer's Pass, but it is only available if you are DVC with direct membership benefits - similar to Incredipass but with a few weeks of blockout dates around Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year

Your breakeven equation could be very different between the 2. I have the Sorcerer's Pass, and very roughly, I consider it breakeven vs. day tickets after 2 weeks.

I am following this thread. I have questions if you all don't mind answering. I don't live in Florida so I am considering the Incredipass. Right now we travel once a year for 7-9 days with a ticket for everyday and always a hopper. We park hop everyday. Our preferred time of travel is the 2nd and 3rd week of October. Would love to go end of March/beginning of April for Flower and Garden.
1. What is the breakeven point?
I'm thinking if we travel 2 times, once on the front end of the pass and once on the tail end, I will save money just on the ticket purchase.
2. Would we/could we go more frequently if we already have the pass?
3. How substantial are the room discounts?
We like to stay at CC in a deluxe studio for a longer trip, but would consider other options, especially if we were just going for a long weekend.
4. How do the room discounts work? Do you get to decide when and where to go? Are they available all the time? Do the discounts drop the same way as GP discounts do?
Thanks in advance to those who have answers!

Not sure about the break even point, but usually it's about 10 days or more of visiting the parks. If you buy the Incredipass, you can go whenever you want (may need reservations) and hop as often as you want. You will get a 20% merchandise discount, 10% F&B discount at some table service restaurants, free parking at the parks (it's $35 a day for non Disney resort guests), and resort discounts at various times of the year, which can be up to 40% for deluxe resorts. Now rooms are limited, so there is no guarantee you could get a CC studio (they tend to have more limited availability because the studios are mainly DVC rooms, and won't happen at Christmas). Once you have an AP, you will have access to see any and all current discounts being offered to AP holders. They usually send emails, too. Again, room discounts are not always available, but yes, usually around the same time as the GP discounts drop, with the discount normally being about 5% more. Lots to consider!
