Donald's Breakfastosaurus

Just wondering what experience you have had with this Character Breakfast and if you would go back. We did CM last time and would like to try some thing new this time. DS9

It's one of my favorites, but then again, I'm a big Donald fan, and this is the only meal you're assured of seeing Donald at. The food is comparable to any of the other breakfast buffets, not spectacular, but enjoyable. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the characters seem to have plenty of time to interact with guests, we had them come over to us and then again after they had finished their loop.

We really like Donald's. Younger DS is a huge Donald fan, and the rest of us really like Donald too. We go to Breakfastosaurus just to make sure we get to see Donald. We've been there 5 times so far.

We also really like the theming here. I have two sons, and they've always liked the dinosaur artifacts and the archeological digsite atmosphere at Donald's.

We think the food is good. It's typical breakfast buffet food, and every time we've been there the buffet has been well-stocked and the food has been hot and fresh.

Some of the servers are better than others. We've had a couple of servers that joked around with us, and a couple that just served us and that was it. But we've never had bad service at Donald's.

We went for the first time in June and absolutely loved it!! DH and I are considering doing it again for just the 2 of us in May!!

What is the best time to go? I was thinking of doing the last time on an EM. What is the lastest I can get in?

What we like to do is go before the park opens around 8 or 8:10 am and then when you're finished, you're the first ones in the park. You can even pick up a fastpass before you go in to eat and then eat & assuming the fastpass is for 9-10 am, you can hit a few things and use the FP just before 10 for the Safari or something.

*this works well at Crystal Palace too for breakfast on non early entry days as you're well past security and parking jams!!!

we thought the character interaction was great and food was pretty darn good too. Loved the warm apples - it was like warm apple pie. Looking forward to going back again.

wouldn't you have to go to the attraction to get the fast pass? I was under the impression that we would be escorted to Donald's for our 8am PS. How do you get a fastpass for the safari that's on the other side of the park?

We really enjoyed Donald's on our last trip. We will be returning this time around as well. I like the choices and my kids loved the characters. The only thing that disappointed me was that all my dad ate were egg beaters, which he had to request and he was still charged the full buffet menu even though that is all he ate. He even explained to the waitress that is all he could eat.
