Dolphin ? striking?

Okay, I could be really behind the game here.. Is the dolphin employees on strike? My husband told me that he heard that last night..

My understanding is that about 400 of the over 2,000 employees that work at the Swan/Dolphin are Teamsters and that they are the only ones on strike. There have been a few posts from people who are at the Dolphin right now and they have indicated that service has not been interupted.

We have also heard that, although they are on strike and there is a picket line, they are not trying to cause any problems for the guests. From what I've heard, they are a friendly bunch, who are just trying to state a point.

We'll be there June 25 and I'm not concerned at all. All reports have been as positive, basically saying that some guests never even noticed until they got home and some saying they saw a few people with picket signs, but weren't made to feel uncomfortable when they walked by.

Just returned from an overnight at WDW. The strikers were very evident. They were even on the main street that goes through WDW.
