Hi, folks. We're thinking about going to the Dolphin for our next Disney vacation, and I have some questions for those of you who have stayed here in the past.
I am a teacher, and we want to stay in the Epcot area. I think I'd really like to stay at the Beach Club, but with a teacher discount the Dolphin will be considerably cheaper -- the Beach Club would be like twice as much as the Dolphin. I'm thinking that the Beach Club can't be TWICE as good as the Dolphin. Am I making the right choice here?
We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 girls ages 9 and 12). I'd really like to have one of those double-balcony rooms on the end of the halls. Do they all have king-sized beds, or would any of them hold four people? Or, is it possible to get a connecting room for the kiddos?
Even if we don't get the double balcony room, a balcony of some type is an absolute necessity for us. I know that many rooms at the Dolphin don't have them. Can I guarantee that we will have one?
Can anyone give me details about the pool? We won't be going to the parks every day (I have a husband who thinks vacations are for relaxing -- go figure!), so the pool is an important feature to us. I love the idea of Storm-along Bay, which is why I ranked the Beach Club #1. How does the Dolphin's pool compare?
Thanks for any advice you can throw my way!
