Love the S/D.
Not sure of the best Swan rooms - but in the Dolphin you can request an upper floor (5th floor or higher) room on the outer West Wing and see DHS, part of AK and the Grotto pool or request the same upper floor room on the outer East Wing and see the EPCOT fireworks.
A balcony is a plus, but the window view is just as nice.
The rooms are 360 sq. ft - with Heavenly beds
, so comfy.
The Dolphin room only has one sink, the Swan rooms have 2 sinks.
Yes - the S/D can do EMH's and use WDW transportation.
You can walk to EPCOT (or boat) and boat to DHS (possible to walk, but the boat is faster).
Bus to DTD, AK & MK - about a 20-30 minute ride to each.
The bus sometimes & boat always, stop at the YC/BC & BW.
Both have a Disney gift shop in the resort lobbies.
The Grotto pool has a 3 acre pool. There are also 2 lap pools, a kiddie pool and a hot tub.
Many discounts - nurse, military, teacher, government &
AAA.
Just ask.
Plus if you have an AAA card - you can get a 20% off discount at the S/D owned eateries such as the Garden Grill, Fresh, Picabu & Fountain.
