That was from me. You're welcome.
Thank you for the wonderful gift. Nice to know who actually sent it. The box was soaked but the stuff inside was bone dry.

Some people stated they "were going" to mail today. Please post that you actually did ::yes::

Mine went out Priority Mail this morning. Thank the post office gods for flat rate boxes, this one was kind of heavy.

That only leaves 4 people to send and/or verify :)

Can't wait to hear of more arrivals :)

Now that is an adorable exchange with all the LIME GREEN!!! Way to go on your first trade Kathy... very cute.

Welcome Aboard!

I am anxiously awaiting confirmation that Abi's exchange made it to it's destination!! All other packages mailed that day made it to their destination by Tuesday. Getting a bit worried but I have always been a worry wart! :teeth:

That PO is sometimes a problem ::yes::

Nope I was a goober and only did one package DC....just priority mail. I am really learning my package lessons with this exchange. :teeth:

I think someone ought to write a Reccomendations for Exchanges list. *chuckles* I know that when I did my first Exchange I kinda picked up on the DC is pretty good thing... it's the best way of tracking the packages. It just gets worrisome when you show your package delivered but don't hear from the recipient. *nail biting* So far, all the new exchangers I've had the pleasure of getting in touch with have done a fantabulous job!

Infact, my packages include the Cinderella Pencils! *grins*

I almost always get DC but I forgot on one of the other exchanges and she hasn't received the package yet. I also have her in this exchange too and did get DC and she still hasn't received it yet. It seems her mail takes extra long to get to her. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I had her name in an exchange and I am learning to give it an extra week to get there.

We should have some deliveries today ::yes::

Remember, if you print your labels at USPS, DC is free (not parcel though, but priority).

We do have some people that take a long time to receive their mail ::yes::

I really think a "here's some things we've learned" doing exchanges sticky, might help some newbies out.

From this exchange I have learned:

check the priority box out before sealing....flat rate isn't always the way to go!

get delivery confirmation!! The extra change it costs is so worth it so you don't give yourself an ulcer worrying about the package.

If you print the labels from USPS.com the DC is free....so don't even have to worry about the pennies!!

If you need packing help PM Ryka....she is one amazing packer!!

Last but certainly not least what I have learned from this exchange....these dang things are addicting!! :lmao:

LOL. Now I am going to have to make sure I can pack a box like that again. Just call me the Official box packer. :rotfl:

Yes, be sure to check the weight and destination when choosing flat rate. You can do that on the site too :)
For me, anything to the east coast over 2 pounds goes flat rate
I check all the rest....use my kitchen scale to get close enough.

You do get good at packing things in those flat rate boxes. I have been known to throw more in to make it heavier :rotfl: I like a good deal!! :teeth:

Mine was mailed out last friday the 5th to UrsulasMyHero. I got her name for the dollah store exchange and her cats name for the pet exchange so they were all mailed in one big box, coming today from UPS...
