Dollar express card

Hi all, just printed off and laminated my dollar express card, am I right in thinking that when we arrive to huge queue waiting to pick up a car we can go to a different desk and jump that huge queue? When we last went we chose the longest line in the immigration which was towards the left, then when we got to the car pick up desk, again, the longest queue, it took us 4 hours from landing to get to our accomodation!!! Far too long, hence trying to find the quickest options. I also have heard about queueing in the left queue next to the US passport holders line so we'll be trying that too.

There is only one line for immigration at MCO now so no trick with joining the right-hand queue.

Yes, if you are a Dollar Express member, you can use the Express check-in desk when collecting your rental car.

oooh, goody for the dollar express card but bad news for the immigration queue......oh well, should still be quicker than before!!

We arrived a couple of week ago, as Joh says 1 line now for immigration, we were lucky being in PE and the first plane to land that day from the UK. from touching down to leaving the airport took us 40 mins then another 20 mins to LBV, approx 1 hour from landing to hotel, fastest we have ever done it.
Express has saved us hours of standing in the line.

Another vote for the Express - they also give you a better service! When we went in '08 we were through immigration in 10 minutes (our plane was the only one within an hour internationally and only had 15 people on it... including the crew!), big line at the Dollar desk and an empty express one so we just walked up, chose the car and colour, and straight down to the garage - the car we wanted wasn't available on our side of the Terminal so the express desk had rung through and got the other terminal to drive one over for us. When we got down to the garage I was about to join the queue when our car pulled up right at the luggage loading area next to the key booth, the driver hopped out and called my name and off we went!

The looks you get from the queue are sometimes interesting though

You go direct to the garage, have done for quite a while now (2 years?) no inside line for Express.

Thanks for confirming this Wayne, we used Hertz last time and I thought you had said about going straight out now to the garage with Dollar
