I have heard great things about dole whips on here. I am heading to MK in a week for the first time  Can anyone tell me where to find these? :confused3

Dole Whips - Yum!

Dole Whips are sold at a little stand called Aloha Isle in Adventureland across from the Swiss Family Treehouse. I don't know what time the stand opens, but I do know that we've stopped by several times shortly after the park has opened and the stand was not open yet. We've had Dole Whips around lunchtime though. And we've stopped by to get one to eat while waiting for Spectromagic, so the stand should be open until close to park closing.

Enjoy! :)

Sure, it will be fixed in your memory after getting one! :flower: Just go to adventure land and find the Aloha Isle. It is across fromt he Swiss Family Tree house. We have always got the half pineapple, half vanilla swirl. YUM! I am so looking forward to getting another one of these in 44 days! I really think we could use a dancing Pineapple on this board maybe with a twistie hair do to represent dole whips! hehehehe!

LOVE these. My DD got some pineapple lip balm that smells just like a dole whip. She sniffs it and dreams of Disney. She's a bit corny!!!
Try a Dole Whip float. Dole Whip ice cream in pineapple juice.

Yum! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I got the recipie to make them off another web site and plan to try it soon. Why wait till WDW?

What you want to order is the dole whip pineapple float, that's the best thing on the menu. It's either $2.50 or $3.50, I can't remember. We always get them- even when we went in December and it was soooo cold!!

Another vote for the FLOAT!! It's one of the best things on WDW property.

Yum! I had one at the Dole Pinapple plant on Oahu. It just didn't have the same feeling as eating one from Adventureland!

Yummy! A Dole whip is pineapple froze stuff swirled with another flavor of swirl stuff. I dont believe that it is really ice cream and it's not sorbet either. You can get it swirled with vanilla.

The float is yummy too.

You guys are really making me crave them now, and I have never even tried it! :bitelip: Thanks so much for the info, and I may just haev to try both the whip and the float! Beth E., thanks for clarifying what they are exactly - I was wondering! Guess I'll find out in 7 days!!! :cheer2:

I agree that it can't qualify as ice cream. It's a pineapple soft serve.

The float is the best of both. You get the dole whip floating in pineapple juice.

The vanilla soft serve in Pineapple juice float is amazing. :goodvibes
Actually had my first one about 10 days ago........I had read so many things about them here on the boards, I guess as MANY times as I had been to the MK I never would have thought ice cream would be good in pineapple juice..........but now I am addicted! the Float is the best!!

I got to say that I was leary about trying it. I kept thinking it would be like a Oarnge Julius which I detest. It was really good! We had the Float I defiantly willl go again.

You guys are making me so hungry! I'm going into withdrawls thinking about these. I haven't tried the floats but since they're getting rave reviews I'll try it in 44 days!!!

I love love LOVE the floats!! Somehow I managed to forget to get one when we were there in October. First stop on April 3rd...Aloha Isle!!! :goodvibes

Here's a picture of a Dole Whip! Yum!!
