Dole whip???

As many times as we've been to Disney, I haven't tried the famous dole whip, lol. What exactly is it? Is it like ice cream or a smoothie? Thinking of trying it.....hubby and I leave in 22 days!!

I haven't had it either but my friend raves about it and gets it multiple times each trip. I think its kind of creamsicle?

It's soft serve pineapple ice cream.

You can also get a vanilla/pineapple swirl, orange/pineapple swirl, or vanilla/orange swirl.

There are also Dole Floats- soft serve in the flavors vanilla, pineapple, or orange in pineapple juice.

So delicious and refreshing!!

I had gone 5 or 6 times before I ever tried one. I finally had one 3 trips ago and now they are my favorite! My husband loves the floats, I prefer the plain pineapple ones, and my kids love the orange/vanilla swirl. Either way, they are delicious!

You can also get it at the Polynesian Resort. If you happen to be going to look at the monorail resorts, as we did to see Christmas decorations, you can get it there (and possibly avoid long lines at MK)

I would say the pineapple one, without the vanilla, is most like sorbet. There is no dairy in it! Yum!

We tried out first one at DisneyLand- waited forever and a day- and didn't like it Next time I will try a float and see if it's better.

We tried the pineapple Dole Whip float....and I didn't really care for it. It was okay, ut just too much pineapple for me. I ate the ice cream and tossed the juice. Next time I think I'll try the orange/vanilla swirl...no float
