We are getting soooo close to sharing the surprise with our DS and his best friend!!! The anticipation of their reactions is killing me. These last days are going to go by so sloooooooow!

Me too.

I'm sending my girlfriend and her 13 year old son to US/IOA and staying at PBH for 3 nights. He's never been on an airplane and she's only flown once. They leave today for Orlando at 4pm. He doesn't know that he's going. The first clue is when the limo pulls up in their driveway.

That is sooooooo nice!!! We are almost to the single digits........... well soon anyway!!!!:smooth:

We are in the single digits too! When are you going to start packing?
:D

We leave in the morning! I don't think I'll get any sleep tonight!;)

LOL, Notatourist!

I guess I'm just a masochist, people always remember me for that fiasco!

We've been doing the single digit dance for a little while now!!! The anticipation is driving us insane. We've already packed, repacked, and packed again. I've had all I can stanz, I can't stanz no more:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

There's a party going on in here!!!!!!! Have a great time everyone. Wish I was going but the best we can do is Williamsburg in a month; we traded our Hilton Head timeshare for a week at the Fairfield Kingsgate. Ain't summer grand???????

Damo we love Williamsburg! Will you be going to Busch Gardens? Great place to visit, wish we were going back this summer also. Since our Universal trip was last month its kinda sad we have no plans to return till December but....YES summer is GRAND! Were heading to Woodloch on wednesday and I cant wait:)

So tell me about the Fairfield Kingsgate, nice place? Have a great trip!

JessicaR, at this time in our lives we design our vacations around theme parks. So we will be spending a lot of time at Busch Gardens and are going to take a drive up to Paramount King's Dominion. We're driving down from Ontario so we will try to hit any park along the way. This is our first time at Williamsburg so we're hoping that the Fairfield Kingsgate is nice.

You see, my son is a coaster fanatic, and seriously wants to become an engineer to design coasters, good coasters that is. So we must ride every coaster IN THE WORLD!!! LOL, I don't mind. Next summer, I think we're going to try California!

Damo,

How cool about your son wanting to be an engineer to design coasters!! We do the same thing with our vacations, were always trying to center it around theme parks. Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is on our top 5 list! I hope you all enjoy it and have a blast!

How awesome your son wants to design coasters. Get him rollercoaster tycoon software. (If he doesn't already have it) I was literally addicted to this game (and i'm 39!). You build your own theme park and can build your own coasters or use prebuilt ones.

We've been centering our vacations around theme parks as well. Our 9 year old and 12 year old will go on anything they are tall enough for. Did Busch Gardens last summer and they had a blast. Doing Islands of Adventure in August and my son can't stop talking about it. Of course, I will be sitting on the bench, I'm "the chicken" in the family!! Have a great time! nina

Then remember this letter...

:)

So many people leaving soon! This place is going to be quiet.

Have fun everyone. I can't wait to hear about your trips! :)

Barry, we know all about X. DS is so addicted to coasters that you can show him a picture of any coaster in the world and he will identify it along with all of its statistics (manufacturer, height, speed, types of inversions, number of G's, launch mechanisms, etc). We have every coaster creating software program in existance. I certainly hope that he is able to fulfill his ambitions. Even I'm getting pretty knowledgable and can tell who makes a coaster by the type of track:p

Right now he is on track to have ridden 99 different coasters by the end of the summer. He and I just got back from a little two day trip to Montreal to visit Six Flags LaRonde. He was really hoping to make Dragster his 100th but I don't think that will happen this year (maybe it will be X!!!). I guess we'll have to make a short trip to CP next year, along with Kennywood, Hershey, Dorney, etc. etc. AND California!!!!!!!!:p Between semesters, in January, next year I think we'll make a quick trip down to Tampa to do Busch Gardens, shouldn't take more than two days.

Thank goodness for frequent flier miles and husbands that do lots of travelling!!!
