Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Your hair looks wonderful! :thumbsup2

Loved the photos from your second trip! Oh, and I love the Raspberry Lemonade Slush too! Unfortunately it was too cold this past February to have one! :lmao:

If you are looking for a wrapper for a chocolate bar - there are some on the cruise board - Fish Extenders.

Hope your weekend is/was wonderful - unfortuately its almost over! :scared1:

OK.... I wanted to catch up here so I can properly chime in once and a while. I took notes.... ;)

Pick a pearl! Thanks for the reminder... I haven't done that yet... its going into my notes as a must do in December.

Kona cafe dinner... looks scrumptious... I haven't seen a review for that before. It's going on my ADR must do too.

Oh no... no Boma? Sorry it was ruined for you. :sad2:

Projectile penguin poop?! :lmao::rotfl2:

Beaches and Cream! I've heard about that place for a while now but yours is the first review I've seen! That ice cream brownie looks heavenly! :cloud9:

I think you said you'd decided, but I also vote that you dress up for MNSSHP... but lightly. Poor Ariana was wearing a heavy princess gown and she faded quickly as the night went on.

Love that black castle T shirt... very cool!

I vote Typhoon Lagoon! Crush 'n Gusher is fun, but remember to lift your booty up in the air!

Your resort ADRs are all new to me... Since we're trying all new stuff this December, looks like I'll be copying you.

Your park ADRs look good too. My DH was not so hot on the Rose & Crown but he's too picky.... I've only heard good things about it.

I'd vote doing MNSSHP twice too... if I could, I would... the time flies and the lines can be long... it'd be nice to be able to say if you haven't done something the first time, you can catch it the next time. :thumbsup2

Your travel day plan sounds wonderful and your first day with Cali Grill and Wishes sounds great... Wishes from the observation deck after dinner .... I wasn't sure about it but now I think I may try that too. :goodvibes

Your hair looks pretty, but yes, go more red... which is rich coming from me who continuously takes the red out of my hair by going chocolate brown ....

Ferrero rocher cupcakes!.... drool, :faint: Yum!

Mad Hatter going Scottish... I noticed that too! What was that? But it made me smile whenever he did it, so I didn't mind too much I guess.

Chessie has always been a fav character... just awesome... You asked me earlier and I forgot about him. Whoops!

Your first day of your flashback sounds good so far but you're making me nervous with your first week of December warnings. :worried:

There! Now I'm up to date!

We loved Alice too! Not quite sure about Johnny's Scottish moments either, though apparently he does it every time he talks about the Jabberwocky, which all comes from a Lewis Carroll poem (the things you learn from reading movie reviews! I'm not up enough on my literature to catch that reference!).

What a beautiful film, though!

Thank you :cutie:

Stay tuned, still more to come. That Raspberry Slush is just the best, but then anything crushed and frozen usually is.

Thanx for the heads up, will go check it out.

Weekend is now sadly over, but it was a good one. Hope you had a good one too :goodvibes

OK.... I wanted to catch up here so I can properly chime in once and a while. I took notes.... ;)

You're like me, if I am reading a really long TR I will start my reply in another tab and add to it as I go along

Pick a pearl! Thanks for the reminder... I haven't done that yet... its going into my notes as a must do in December.

Oh you must, its so much fun. But be warned it can get pretty addictive

Kona cafe dinner... looks scrumptious... I haven't seen a review for that before. It's going on my ADR must do too.

Kona is pretty awesome and the Sticky Wings are the best.

Oh no... no Boma? Sorry it was ruined for you. :sad2:

I know, it was just too darn noisy in there, but there may be a possibility that we did finally visit in this recap trip.

Projectile penguin poop?! :lmao::rotfl2:

I know right, is it bad that I was relieved it wasn't me? :rotfl:

Beaches and Cream! I've heard about that place for a while now but yours is the first review I've seen! That ice cream brownie looks heavenly! :cloud9:

Beaches and Cream was great, I tried my first pickle there (was not too bad too). I love the atmosphere, like an old school diner and the desserts are just heavenly. Dave wants to try and see if we can manage a quick visit this year, just for the ice cream.

I think you said you'd decided, but I also vote that you dress up for MNSSHP... but lightly. Poor Ariana was wearing a heavy princess gown and she faded quickly as the night went on.

I do want to dress up, the costume I posted, I was thinking of substituting the skirt for jeans, but then someone pointed out that with the jacket and jeans I could get hot. So back to the drawig board on that one me thinks. I remember reading about Ariana and her dress, I suppose it also doesn't help that most costumes these days are not made out of the best material suitable for warm weather either.

Love that black castle T shirt... very cool!

Thanx :goodvibes

I vote Typhoon Lagoon! Crush 'n Gusher is fun, but remember to lift your booty up in the air!

Lol, duly noted :thumbsup2 I haven't spoken to Dave yet, but I am leaning more towards TL too.

Your resort ADRs are all new to me... Since we're trying all new stuff this December, looks like I'll be copying you.

Your park ADRs look good too. My DH was not so hot on the Rose & Crown but he's too picky.... I've only heard good things about it.

Quite a few are new for us too, mostly the Signature Dining but we can't wait to try them all and you must let me know what ones you are going to try too :thumbsup2

Rose and Crown is a great restaurant, we enjoyed eating out on the terrace part, but the enclosed bit. The food was really good too, you should try and swing DF to try it.

I'd vote doing MNSSHP twice too... if I could, I would... the time flies and the lines can be long... it'd be nice to be able to say if you haven't done something the first time, you can catch it the next time. :thumbsup2

I am hoping we can, just wish they would at least release the dates already. There are a few threads speculating on what nights in Sept it might be on as there are a few days MK closes at 7pm which one would assume to be because its a party night.

Your travel day plan sounds wonderful and your first day with Cali Grill and Wishes sounds great... Wishes from the observation deck after dinner .... I wasn't sure about it but now I think I may try that too. :goodvibes

I hope you guys try Cali, looks like a really cool restaurant.

Your hair looks pretty, but yes, go more red... which is rich coming from me who continuously takes the red out of my hair by going chocolate brown ....

Thanx. Lol, its like we are the opposite

Ferrero rocher cupcakes!.... drool, :faint: Yum!

They are really good, am going to have my second one for breakfast later on.

Mad Hatter going Scottish... I noticed that too! What was that? But it made me smile whenever he did it, so I didn't mind too much I guess.

Chessie has always been a fav character... just awesome... You asked me earlier and I forgot about him. Whoops!

It reminded me of Braveheart everytime he went Scottish, must have been the orange hair

I want Chessie in a plush as I think he is v cool too

Your first day of your flashback sounds good so far but you're making me nervous with your first week of December warnings. :worried:

You can find out later on tonight, will post the next installment then :)

It was a good accent though. I think I might have to search out the original book by Lewis and have a read. It was a great film though, although it did received mixed reviews, but who cares, at least we liked it :goodvibes

The March Hare was the best character in that film followed by the Red Queen. Loved the way he kept throwing stuff at people :lmao: The White Queen just seemed to blah for me, pirouetting all over the place (I actually typed that correctly and had to check I spelt it right haha go me!).

I enjoyed Rose and Crown very much. Think I had fish and steak but i'm sure Stefy will recap that :goodvibes Though if you do decide to go, make your DF try the beer flight (Think it's called that, I actually cant remember if I had one here or just at Raglan Road but either way deffo try it if he likes beer).

Evening All

Hope we are all good.

So carrying on with where we left off, which was back to the resort for some down time before our ADR at Raglan Road.

Raglan Road was pretty good. Dave got the Beer Flight and I settled on a Red Wine recommended by our server.

Dave ordered Fish & Chips

Whilst I went for the Shepherds Pie

We skipped on dessert as I was starting to feel a bit yucky, which I put down to jet lag so Dave took me home where I happily fell in to bed.

Yes, the throwing thing was quite funny actually. We laughed at the White Queen mostly in a mocking way, for her pirouetting (had no idea that was how to spell it... kudos!:thumbsup2) and her reactions to gross things. :rotfl:

He tried the fish and chips but left most of it untouched. Alas, he doesn't drink at all. Hasn't touched it in twenty years since he was a teen. Most people think he's a recovering alcoholic but he just up and decided one day it was too expensive a habit that he got nothing out of, so he stopped. Exactly what he decided over ten years ago when he quit smoking. Cold turkey. The man has will power I tell ya.... wish I did when it came to chocolate! :lmao:

EDIT: Whoops, sorry, didn't mean to interrupt your postings

We woke up the next morning and I felt like  I think Dave went to get breakfast and we stayed in bed for most of the morning. Dave said he was ok not doing anything today because he wanted me to get better, but I felt really bad that I was ruining his holiday, so I lied and said I was feeling better :rolleyes1 (Well I was slightly so just a lil white lie).

So we decided to go to DTD for a late breakfast at Goofy's.

A nice man offered to take our pic.

After breakfast, we wondered around the shops for a while taking pics.

After DTD we came back to the resort (flu was catching up with me again) where we saw this lil guy trying to escape

We also had a message on the machine saying our Garden Grocer delivery had arrived.

I liked the White Queen's mannerisms, were quite funny too :goodvibes

Hey no probs :thumbsup2

Your DH certainly has willpower wish I had the same for getting fit.

We stayed in the room for the rest of the day until our ADR at:
IMG_2424.jpg

Didn't really take many pics here but it was good food. Funny story, I originally ordered the steak and Dave Pork Medallions. I tried mine and was not loving it, too salty so Dave kindly traded his with me (bless him - he put up with so much during this trip). One weird thing I found on this trip was that my tastebuds were totally out of whack, nothing tasted good to me :confused3

Anywho, on with the picture recaps.

The next day we was an Epcot day and I was feeling much better.

We took an early morning walk to get breakfast that morning and halfway to Pepper Market, DF stops me, kneels down by the lake and asks me to marry him :lovestruc It was beautiful and the setting was just perfect and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him from that moment on :lovestruc

My lovely ring which I adore and never tire looking at :cloud9:
ring1-1.jpg

So with my day certainly off to a magical high we skipped to Epcot, well we rode a bus and then skipped to the entrance :cutie:

I can't believe I have forgotten to add our Photo Pass pics, so have decided I will add them at the end of the trip recap :wizard:

Think thats it for now, will recap some more tomorrow.

Have a great day/evening :cutie:

Love reading about your past trip, Stefy! Sorry you weren't feeling well, but I think the proposal was a turning point, right? Such a nice story and the ring is just gorgeous!!

You've made me really want to take a stroll around Epcot now!

Very cool seagull picture.
Why is it called Beer Flight?

Oh my oh my... Goofy's cupcakes look scrumptious. Must remember to show Ariana the princess cupcakes!

What a beautiful ring!! :lovestruc Soopafly, you have great taste and what a fabulous way to propose.

I can't remember where I saw that pick a pearl locket before on a different PTR/TR... wait was that you?! It's absolutely beautiful.

I don't know what it is but whenever I go on holiday there is always something wrong with me. 2007 and 2008 I came down with flu and last year when I went to Singapore I got a really bad mouth ulcer that eventually went away after being on the trip for 9 days (was a 10 night vaca).

I have bought vitamins and such to try and boost my immune system and I am going to try and not stress so much before we go. I can't be sick on holiday again, its just not fair :sad2: Sorry, rant over.

I actually dreamt about walking around Epcot last night, wish it was real as then we would be there now :teeth:

Not sure why its called a Beer Flight :confused3

The cupcake was ok, too much icing for me, I ended up leaving most of it and eating the sponge. But they are really pretty she will love them :cutie:

Thank you :goodvibes Its an Edwardian style and was custom made.

I posted all my pick a pearls to date on the Pick a Pearl thread, maybe you saw it there :cutie:

Hi Stefy,

I am just catching up. Somehow there is just too much work every day for my DIS addiction! ;) Thankfully it's another Tuesday off for me (every other week I have Tuesday off, yippie) and I just finished reading your trip recap - may I say that I LOOOOOOOVED your engagement story. And such a beautiful ring! :woohoo:
All those photos are just such a wonderful reminder of the fun times we all have in that magical place! :goodvibes

Looking forward to LOTS more!

Thanx you :goodvibes

It is nice to reminisce on past trips, just gets you smiling :goodvibes

Lucky you have Tuesday off :thumbsup2 Now you can do lots of Dising. I woke up this morning thinking it was Wednesday and realised what day it was and thought, was it really only Monday yesterday?!?!? :(

The way Dave proposed was perfect. It was a beautiful morning and all the lovely words he said to me, made me go all gooey :cloud9: He's alright that one, a definite keeper ;)

It is called a beer flight because each beer is from a different country of origin (apparently). The one I had in Raglan Road had bitter from england, a guinness from ireland etc so that's why.

Nice to know i'm a keeper

We recently purchased a new camera so there should be plenty more pics this year. I went a bit snap happy in 2007 and I think we had around 1200 pictures or something. Im looking to double that this year if we end up doing anything extra special (like with the seaworld tour). Stefy will probably upload a few of our photopass pictures as well but be warned, they like to get thos kissing shots in :rolleyes1
