What you guys think?

Love it!!! Beauty and the Beast is my favoritest movie, so I am a little biased, but it's a great shirt!

I get a birthday wish from Mickey for Ariana when I get there :cutie:

:goodvibes

I can't wait to try Ohana Breakfast and see Lilo & Stitch :yay:

Are you going to march in the parade? :teeth:

I remember reading your review on Akershus. I really only want to go for the Princesses TBH. Although I hear now that all the Princesses are going to be at Lunch and Dinner at CRT. But I think we will stick with this one as me and Sophia (OhioDisneyLover) have a plan to make early AM ADR's to get empty park pics :)

Empty park pics.... Nice! My family is far too lazy to get those.

Our first trip, we nearly bought the Castle Snowglobe, if its still there this year I may just end up getting it :teeth:

Ooooo, am I going to see the Castle Snowglobe as I continue on? :yay:

I am not really interested in Akershus but Stefy wants to do it so I am not going to get in her way as that would be very dangerous :lmao:

Smart man! :rotfl2:

No way are we ever doing 50's Prime Time lol. I couldn't handle people telling me how and what to eat:confused3 Though I think I am looking forward to Tepan, Cali Grill and Yachtsman the most :D

We loved Teppan Edo and would go again for sure. I'd love Cali but I'm not sure it would be "worth it" for us, only because I'm not sure how much of a fireworks view we'd end up with and that's pretty much why we'd go. I keep thinking it would be a fabulous backdrop but what if our view was impeded..... then I'd rather just see Wishes from the MK. Did that make sense? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to hearing how you guys make out!

VERY good choice! Looks really cute!:goodvibes

Thank you ladies. BatB is my all time fav Classic Disney Movie and I cannot wait to catch the show again this year :goodvibes

:goodvibes

 I think I will leave that to the kiddies, will cheer them on though :)

I am surprised myself that we actually do things early when we are on holiday, but I suppose being Disney it is worth it :)

Unfortunately no, but hopefully maybe in my PTR for this year :thumbsup2

Smart man! :rotfl2:

Was just thinking the same thing ;)

Teppan is awesome. You still have the observation deck for Wishes at Cali and I am told the view from there is pretty amazing - So want to stay at CR/BLT one day

I LOVE the T-shirt!!! It's awesome!! :woohoo::woohoo:

You should have seen me when I got to meet Beast last year at Epcot. It was hilarious. I was like a giant 3 year old! :lmao::rotfl2:

Very cute shirt! I like how it's kind of got that faded look...like it's not so cartoony.

I would LOVE to meet Beast! I don't think I've ever seen him!

Thanx, yeah I have found most of the classic Disney designs I have found seemed to be faded or worn looking. Really does make it look like a classic tee :goodvibes

Hopefully we can both find him on our trips this year :thumbsup2

Hey, I am here!! OMG, I love all your Disney shirts!! If you don't mind me asking, where in the world did you find them? They are adorable!!

Hey :welcome: glad you could make it :goodvibes

I got all my tshirts from a UK website called Missimo, except for the Castle one and the Beauty and the Beast one. Those I got from Uniqlo and Truffle Shuffle :thumbsup2

Hi Guys

How are we all today?

I was wondering if any of you could help me find something on the boards.

I was reading someones (can't remember who) PTR or TR and before the start of their holiday they made these awesome Mickey, Minnie candy wrappers to wrap around some chocolates/candy they bought.

I have tried searching on the creative board and also through the search engine, but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Its basically a paper or cardboard design and you just wrap it around the candy, but it also has the characters feet which makes it stand up too (pretty cool looking).

TIA :goodvibes

Hey Guys

How are we all doing? Hope your weekend is going great so far :goodvibes

Yesterday was a pretty jam packed day. I got my hair done in the morning, which I have been meaning to get done for like ever, just been too lazy to do it, but here is the finshed product, what you think? I wanted more red but my hairdresser for some reason seems to like making me brown :confused3 Gonna tell him off next time and demand more red!

Excuse me looking tired and yucky (just spent the last hour battling Oxford St crowds)

After my hair was done, Dave came and picked me up and went to see his lil bro's, had a match on the Wii playing the new Sonic racing game (which I suck at  ). Then it was on to Oxford St to get some yummy delicious treats and to check out the Disney Store. Dave had broken one of his drinking glasses earlier in the week and wanted to replace it, hence the Disney Store visit.

So this is our haul:

Uh Oh, you know whats in there :yay:

Ferrero Rocher flavour (hazelnut and chocolate), these are just simply divine. Two are mine, one is Dave's and the other I got for a friend for Monday.
023-1.jpg

These are Dave's, but I am hoping he will share some of the nutty one with me. Peanut Butter on the left and Banana on the right.

Whats this I spy...
003-4.jpg

Why it's Dumbo (he's so cute and soft).
005-2.jpg

We couldn't resist these either...

and last but not least, Dave's glass, not his first choice, but they were all our of Nightmare Glasses.

So thats our naughty haul (well his naughty haul as he paid) :teeth:

Once we finally made it through the craziness that was Oxford St (I am telling it was a madhouse that day there were just people everywhere :scared1: ) we came home, unloaded and rested for a bit before leaving to attend a Mad Hatter Tea Party at our local Cinema in honour of Alice.

It was a really great film, still had the same bits from the original Alice but with a twist. I loved the Mad Hatter, Johnny is such a genius, played him perfectly, although at times I didn't get why he went all Scottish. The Cheshire Cat was pretty awesome too. esp in :3dglasses and the March Hare was soooo funny and mad :rotfl: throwing cutlery everywhere, loved the scene where he is in the White Queen's castle making soup

The Tea Party on the other hand was not so much fun. The food portions were pretty poor, only good thing there was the teeny tiny cupcake. I Tweeted some pics:

So thats it for our weekend, not too bad. Now we are just lazing around hoping Monday doesn't come too quickly.

I am going to start the recap of our second trip v soon, so stay tuned :goodvibes Oh BTW I found what I was looking for with those candy wrappers, am defo gonna make some for our trip. Be a nice lil present to leave for Mousekeeping.

Ciao for now :wave2:

Stefy,

Your hair looks very cute. :thumbsup2 I saw your Tweet that you were at the salon. :yay:

OMG, those cupcakes look incredible. There is absolutely no where near me to get anything like them. They look so delicious!!

The party sounds like it was a lot of fun.

Glad you found the wrappers that you were looking for. :thumbsup2

Love your new Disney stuff. So cute. :cutie:

Can't wait for the recap of your second trip.

Time for another recap, our second trip to the World in December 2008. I think I remember naming the TR Our Not So Merry Disney Vacation, or something like that.

We were really excited for our second trip because we had always wanted to go to Disney during the Christmas period to see the decorations :santa:

Originally we decided on POFQ because it looks like a beautiful resort, esp with the Mardi Gras theme. But after doing some research and discovering that Pop Warner would be on at the same time we were there, we decided to change to CSR. We were excited about trying this place out too as it sounded more adult than the others. So with the resort sorted, we started to book the flight. We went for normal Economy and then after a while decided why not treat ourselves and upgrade to Premium Economy, which we did :woohoo:

When departure day finally arrived we were sooooo excited :yay: Off we rushed to the airport, checked in our bags and waited for our gate to open. All set we loaded on to the plane and waited to take off. But not before we were given our complimentary bucks fizz :goodvibes I must say that PE is awesome, so worth the extra money IMO, esp if you get seats in the Bubble (upstairs near the cockpit). Dave took photos on his phone and got a really awesome one of the clouds, but it won't load properly on my comp :(

Anywho, on with the TR. So we finally arrived at CSR (after waiting forever at Immigration) and we were pooped. We got a room in Casitas which was pretty cool. Some pics of the room for you (this was before the big revamp - works were going on at the time though).

Excuse my disheveled look but this was early morning and we had just ventured out for breakfast.

This is my fav pic, took it on my phone as we were walking along, the mist rising over the water was pretty cool.

As is tradition, our first park day was at MK princess:

We started with Fantasy Land first and hit most of the rides there.

We got a FP for...

Which also gave us this...
IMG_2306-1.jpg

Whilst we waited for our Pooh Bear FP to mature we stopped off for one of these...

After Fantasy Land we headed over to Tomorrow and rode the TTA for the first time, I love this ride esp when we go through the stores and SM.

After TTA I had to stop and get myself one of these...

Even though it looks and sounds short, we were there for a while as we had made (but missed) rope drop. So after my turkey leg we went back to the resort to chill.

Will leave it at that for now :goodvibes

Must say though, I was not prepared for how cold it was in Dec  I thought it would be at least warmer than the UK, but I never took my sweatshirt or my scarf off the whole time we were there, had to even resort to wearing Dave's fleece jacket ontop of my sweater at times.

Can't wait for the recap of your second trip.

Thanx :goodvibes I like it, just wish it was a bit redder.

They are little drops of heaven I tell you :cloud9:

The party was good, could have been better, but at least we got a cupcake and a cocktail out of it :thumbsup2

Thanx, the pillows are nice and soft and look cute on the bed :cutie:

Recap is up and ready to read :thumbsup2

MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm! Those are my favorite!! If only MK wasn't a "dry" park, I'd like one of those with a little something extra in it!

LOVE the hair!! I'm a fan of the red too. I used to dye my hair red all the time but I stopped dying it a few years ago thinking that it wouldn't be long before the gray started coming in so I might as well take advantage of my dark brown hair while I still have it!

Yes a lil bit of Mr Al Cohol would make it even better ;)

I think you hair is a lovely colour and length :) I love dark red hair, like wine colour or dark cherry, hopefully I can get that next time, in time for our trip too :)
