Dog has pain when laying down - anyone have any thoughts?

Welcome JennyLynn73 OK here is my opinion, we have a large group of animal lovers here on the Dis. We seek, and give, opinions all the time. We laugh and cry with each other at all stages of our pets lives. I am happy you found us. For what it's worth I have posted on old threads too without noticing the date, it happens all the time. No worries. I'm glad your dog is alright. I have 7 and it was quite an adventure on all of us when we moved from NY to FL on a 3 day road trip !

I have one last question......why in the world did I get any grief about posting here? There are several posts before mine all related to dogs and some concerns. I get that the tone of my post was a little silly, but wow. Other than being worried about my dog, I was in a good mood. What am I missing?

As I tell my teenage daughter all the time, sometimes it's less about you than it is about the other person. As others have said, this can be a great place. You should stick around a while.

You're not missing anything, don't take it personally the internet is just like the real world some people are friendly some,,,not so much.

For someone on a Disney based board, you're awful judgmental and negative. I obviously did not notice how old the thread was and I most certainly have looked for the information elsewhere. For whatever reason, my Google search of his particular symptoms brought me to this thread first nor did I stop here.

So, you're saying that because I have a question about a medical issue with my dog I'm not allowed to post within a general topic forum? Not very general is it? Are you the moderator? And because I had a concern about my dog, I'm pet-centric? Wow.

I'll never forgive Google for bringing me here. lol

I wasn't asking what was odd about posting to an old forum. I know what happened. I was tired and not paying attention. What I found odd was that people would say I shouldn't have posted on this topic though there were many many posts on the same topic.

If it matters, I'm not as disappointed or irritated with anyone as much as the first responder. I guess I was a little lazy in applying my post to all three of the responses. Maybe they were just in a bad mood. I've asked to be given the benefit of the doubt, so I should do the same.

Anyway, I'm not whining or crying over it. And I'm not really surprised there are still people at the ready to poke fun. I try to stay away from political and religious forums for that reason. I'm just disappointed. I had just been talking about all the nice things people were doing for each other nowadays. Obviously, these two or three people aren't going to change my mind about the trend of humanity now. I just got caught off guard. lol
