I was going to be nice, too.
"I like Matt. I just think he's trying too hard to be assertive to make up for Amy being the dominent spouse. Matt is obviously physically limited in what he is able to do. He can't work on the farm except for driving the equipment, and so he has to make a living in other ways. He has a sales business, so he has to travel a lot just like many salesman. It would be nice if he could work at home or close to it, though. But he sells Little People-friendly kits/apparatus to hotels/corporations, and as a Little Person himself, I guess it makes more sense for him to be the one to plug his merchandise than his average business partner.

As for almost killing his son, that's a bit of a stretch, ya think? He had a pumpkin-tossing whatchamacallit (catapult?) set up to entertain people who came pumpkin picking on the farm, and a freak accident happened. Matt wasn't there when it happened."

Yep, it took me about 3 minutes to come up with that but mainly because I kept deleting for fear of points - so, I was gonna just keep it simple.
