Turkey alfredo
instead of chicken

Using store bought jar of alfredo sauce, leftover turkey and fettucini or linguini noodles with some extra parm on top.

Thinking I may try to convince DH and DS to give this a go

If you are serving that with garlic bread and some salad - where and when should I show up???

BTW - is there any other kind of alfredo???? Not in my house....DD LOVES the ragu alfredo the best.

I think it would work perfectly. I always use my leftover turkey in place of chicken after the holidays. They won't even be able to tell the difference.

LOL, by the end of the week, they'll be begging for no more turkey.

Sounds good to me. Ragu is one of my favorites.

that sounds really good!
you could do a simple alfredo sauce yourself, just use half and half, and fresh parmesan cheese, oh and some butter too.
super easy and tastes way better than the jarred alfredo sauce.

I have one of the racheal ray 30 min cookbooks and use the recipe from there but this one is just about the same

I would through a couple of handful of frozen peas in there and my kids would be all over it. :thumbsup2

I have a funny story about jarred alfredo sauce. I love scallops. . have since I was a kid and I just didn't know how my kids would like them. Soooo I made a box of linguine and sauteed up the teeny type bay scallops and then tossed it all with a jar of the Ragu alfredo. They were soooo all over it!!! It's now one of their favorite meals!
