When I was in elementary school (late 70's, early 80's), we watched these filmstrips that I loved. They were about a grown man named Uncle Smiley, I believe. He was this grown man who had no sense and hung out with kids who were a lot smarter than him. Has anybody else seen these?
I think its a shame that they don't watch filmstrips in school anymore. It was like an event when I was little. We all went into the auditorium on Friday afternoons and watched filmstrips. Today they just watch TVs in the classroom- big deal, they can do that at home. Know what I mean?
I can remember when I was like in 4th grade seeing a filmstrip on the Magic Kingdom and wanting to go so badly. Little did I know, I would grow up to be an obsessed Disney fan. LOL!
