Perhaps there should be a questionnaire you could fill out before accessing the CB, asking you to specify your religious, moral, sexual, and racial preferences, then you would only be allowed access to threads which "fit" your personallity.

Or better yet, maybe you should only be allowed to post on threads relating to topics in which you have shown unequivocal support to the ruling majority

That's ridiculous and not my point at all.

I firmly believe that EVERYONE here has the right to make comment and express their beliefs and feelings. HOWEVER, if there are a group of DISers here who have started a thread to celebrate a particular belief or prediliction together I just can't understand why they cannot be given the space to enjoy themselves.

The S/D Cheerleaders celebrate the Swan Dolphin and SSB. Heck - we riddlers have fun each and every morning over silly little riddles. We're allowed to have space to enjoy ourselves.

Why can't others?

So please, DO NOT twist this into something exclusionary - it isn't. There is, however, a time a place for everything.

I think Bernie's point is (and correct me if I am wrong, Bernie) that you consistently make the SAME point again and again and again. You know I have always supported your right to express your opinion, but there comes a time when even I want to say ENOUGH! Give it a rest! I know that not every post you make is argumentative. But if the Christians want to have their own thread about Christian music, why not show them a little tolerance and LET THEM DO IT! It won't kill you.

EROS - If you had started a thread that said "Let's celebrate the Boston Red Sox" and had been inundated with Bosox-bashing posts, I think that would be a situation more akin to the Christian Music thread. I, personally, wouldn't and don't give a hoot either way.

It's not life and death to me. Just an Internet Board.

As much as the Red Sox have ingrained themselves into the psyche and soul of each of their fans, they are not a matter of life and death either.
