Does Mother's day weekend bring out the crowds?

I am still considering a quick weekend trip this spring and the only weekend I can get down there is mothers day. How are the crowds then? By the way I think APs are pure evil!! Oh you think you're saving money by buying one, then 4 trips (at least) in a year .....

Have only been once and that was in 1998 and we went to MK and the crowds were huge.With park attendance off some in general since 9/11 may have some effect on crowds this year.I would still think crowds will be heavy.

We were there for Mother's Day in 2000 & 2001, I'd say attendance was average for a weekend. Saturday at MK is always a zoo. Sunday at MK was not bad. We'll be there this year again - we plan to go to AK & Epcot on Saturday and back to Epcot on Sunday morning for the Mother's Day picture and then MK in the afternoon with dinner at Cinderella's. Since there's no fireworks or parade on Sunday night, crowds thin out towards evening.
