Does it bother anyone else here when someone asks

what is better....This place A or that place B to eat and why.

Then people chime in with "I have never been to A, but B is great and I would eat there because"

The posters are looking for someone who has been to both, if you have only eaten at the one place, your opinion really has no meaning.

No, all opinions are gratefully received. It may well take a while for someone to come along who has been to A and B. Even then, their opinioin may not match up with that of others. Individual opinions matter just as much.

Doesn't bother me.....if I am considering 2 restaurants or 2 resorts...I want to hear any and all opinions, even if someone responding has only been to one of the places I am considering.

No - I get all sorts of opinions of each restaurant, and that is always helpful! The opinions still have meaning. I don't need that sort of help generally with Disney, but if I asked on a board about Europe, or somewhere I'm going - any advice is ALWAYS appreciated.

When someone ask for an opinion between A and B, then they are looking for a response from someone who has been to A AND B.

But lots of people are just trying to be helpful and the op will have to weed through those responses.
