Thinking about making an ADR to Coral Reef but after looking over the menu, I know my DH would NOT eat any of the "side dishes" that go along with the main dish. Whether he ordered the chicken, steak or fish he "NEEDS" mashed potatoes. LOL Can you tell me if he'll be able to substitute for mashed? My whole ADR rides on this answer LOL

Maybe you can bring your own. BJ's sells prepared mashed potatoes (Boston Market brand). I'm sure other markets sell prepared meals also. HE"D have to carry them all day, I guess you'll see how much he really "needs" mashed potatoes.

Maybe he could get a "take-out" order from the food court in The Land and carry it over.

PS - I can't believe this is a grown man we are talking about, I wouldn't even do this for my kids. Sorry, I just had to say something.:rolleyes1

If it's not on the menu (even with another entree) or as a side, then the answer would be no. You can generally sub your sides with another side, if you see it listed on the menu. They will not make anything special for you, unless of course you have food allergy issues.

Would he eat french fries instead? The kids menu offers french fries so he would be able to sub them.

Not when we went last month, it was roasted potatoes or french fries

Thanks....guess I should have said that he would "prefer" mashed. But he will eat fries or baked or roasted. I'm not really looking for them to specially make them for him, just wanted to know if they were available. I'll have him check out that menu that someone posted and we'll see from there.. Thanks!!!
