Does anyone want to have a DIS Meet in MN?

Hi Everyone!

I posted this same thing over on the DIS Meet board and I thought I would post it here too. I know that there a lot of MN DISer's that hang out on this board.

I have never been to a DIS Meet before and I really want to go to one. I have seen pictures and Barry sent me the DIS Meet 2003 DVD to watch. It just looks like so much fun and I want to be a part of that fun! I was thinking we could have it at the Mall of America. Let me know what you think.

ABSOLUTELY! We have had a couple of small meets here. One at the MOA, once at the State Fair, and one at a restaurant. Tykes did a wonderful job last time we went to the MOA!
There are quite a few Minnesotans on the DVC board.

I am so happy to see another MN DISner! Lets see who else will join us for a DIS Meet in MN. Maybe some other DISners from surrounding states will come and join us, that would be a lot of fun!

Pat, I am so glad that you found my thread! I was thinking on having it end of April or the first part of May, on a sat. I figure if I plan it out that far we can get a nice big group together. And like you said it would be nice if out of state DISner's could come to it, I would love to see Dan Murphy! Let me know what you guys think.

I am in WI, about 1 1/2 hours from MOA.

If you are taking a vote for what would be a better time to have the meet, May is much better than April for me.

Dan, I know! But your meet is in April and I will be out of town for most of the month (not in Chicago. )

I will watch for future meets though.
