Does anyone think that maybe Michael Jackson was murdered?

Every day new twists come out. I am anxiously awaiting the toxicology results. I feel more and more every day that Dr. Murray is responsible for MJ's death. If even a quarter of what the media is reporting is correct then that doctor (and I use that term loosely) is in BIG trouble. :sad2:

YOU forget that if that doctor would not have given him what he wanted, he would just find another one that would.

The truth, plain and simple. And I'll bet there are more than a few doctors in the LA area (and elsewhere) that are nervous. I think there is a huge possibility that MJ and his handlers were expert Dr shoppers.:sad2: The investigation will go beyond the injections in question and include Dr's, nurses, and pharmacists..anyone who was part of supplying (especially) things that are addictive.

No, the point is he died on Dr. Murray's watch. Regardless of the drugs he was given, when the doctor realized MJ was in trouble he waited 30 minutes to call for help. MJ might have been able to be saved during that time. MJ can't be held responsible for the amount of time a "doctor" waited to try to get him help.

I hope this does happen. There needs to be a major investigation into the medical community that sees the rich and famous. This medical professionals take an oath and are expected to uphold this oath. But, sadly, some begin to see dollar signs as being the important thing not the best interest of their patient.

I mean, doesn't there come a point when a plastic surgeon should say, "no, we cannot do that. Your nose may fall off"? MJ was not only addicted to drugs, he was also addicted to plastic surgery. No one in their right mind would have done that to themselves. (this didn't lead to his death, but still. . .)

So does MJ have any responsibility in any of this?

Yes, of course he does. But at some point the professionals that he was dealing with had a responsibility to say "NO".

Exactly, ITA. :thumbsup2 That's why they are called professionals. They took an oath. Human life should hold a higher standard to them than dollar signs but unfortunately it doesn't. They need to be held accountable. Then maybe the next doctor will think twice when asked to do this for another celebrity or anyone else for that matter.

And if all doctors remained ethical and professional they would ALL say no and he would be out of luck, wouldn't he? Do you think MJ was going to grab a handgun and go rob a pharmacy?

The doctors are the dealers here, the addict is the one that can't be relied upon to be rational.

Courts all over the world have been very clear on this -- it doesn't matter if the victim would have died at a later date of other causes. What is important is that the accused was responsible for the victim's death at that time eg. you can't get away with murder just because the person you shot was dying from cancer. Whether the victim only had 5 days, 5 weeks, or 5 months left to live, it doesn't give anybody the right to take somebody's life from them. Had MJ not died that day, he may have gone into rehab, may have changed his life, or even just had the chance to spend another day with his children -- nobody has the right to take that away from anyone.

ITA! Unfortunately it often takes somebody famous dying to change the system for the better.

In this case, I don't think so -- he was still breathing when he was in the ambulance. Had the propofol been administered in an operating room (as it should have been) they probably would have been able to revive him even if he did go into cardiac arrest. But the doctor waited too long to call 911, didn't have the proper equipment and didn't administer CPR correctly, and (maybe most important) left the scene before the ambulance arrived so that nobody knew that the propofol had been given to him. The doctors and paramedics therefore had no idea what they were treating MJ for.

Exactly, it took MJ's death to get this recognized.

Your 2nd paragraph here is what I have been trying to say. That's what I think all the people that only want to blame MJ and not the doctor at all seem to forget or not realize. MJ could have been helped if not for the delay by Dr. Murray.

:worship:

The dotors who have basically turned into nothing but educated dealers need to be behind bars.

Does anybody remember Carroll O'Connor's lawsuit against his son's drug dealer? He lobbied state governments to change the laws so that drug dealers would be held accountable for the death of their clients ie. so that they could be charged with more than just trafficking. JMHO, but these doctors should be charged under the same laws -- especially since they are well aware of the health effects and risks of the drugs that they're giving to people (unlike the basic street corner pusher, many of whom are addicts themselves)

More bad news for that doctor on the news this morning....
paramedics think MJ had already been gone for a while when they were called. Doctor had storage unit, and gal working at said unit said a few of doctors staff members came that morning (of death) and loaded boxes into their trunks. She said she had never seen anyone at that unit before that.

Destroying evidence a few hours before the 911 call? Wow, if that is true, this guy is a real piece of garbage.
