Does anyone like Tony's Town Square??

I'd like to know this too, because the prices were always a bit too high for my liking. I don't want to spend that much without knowing if it's worth the extra $$.

We've had many good meals there. I have had spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar salad with chicken, various specials that they have had. It's a little more expensive than counter service, but nicer. If you plan your lunch properly, you can be sitting out on the patio when the 3PM parade goes by too!

DH and I like this restaurant. We order the sphagetti and meatball.

We love to look at the pictures from the Lady and the Tramp in the restaurant and also the Lady and the Tramp fountain in the restaurant is cool.

We always go here for lunch once a trip. We get the "Tony's pizza", which has barbecued chicken on it, WOW, is it ever good. We split an antipasto. Our kids get the kids meals and our 15 yr. old always gets the chicken caesar salad. He's in heaven, its huge. Love this place, very relaxing, and you can't get a better view of everyone coming into the MK!

We had their special of pork and beef penne pasta in a wonderful sauce when we were there around Christmas, it was delicious.

I also had a great dinner at Tony's. It was a filet mignon over sauteed spinach with garlic mashed potatoes. Unfortunately it is no longer on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant though.

:D

I ate there twice during my last visit in 2002. Both times I had spaghetti with a large meatball. Both times, the meal was great and I definitely plan on eating there in the future.

We ate here last July 4th. The meal was very pleasant. I had the veal medallions with a brown sauce -- very good--and the side dish was a combination of mashed potatoes and mashed cauliflower. I didn't think it sounded so appetizing so I asked the waitress about it. She even went and got a sampling of it for me to try. It was delicious!! I even wish I had it at home now. My husband and oldest son had the spaghetti and meatball and said it was good. My son's friend had the roasted chicken and he really liked that. My best comments about this restaurant are concerning my youngest son who was 2 at the time. He was sleeping in his stroller and they let us bring the stroller right in and park it at the table. (The restaurant isn't real crowded with tables up against each other like it is in other places.) We ordered him an individual cheese pizza and they kept it warm until he woke up. They do a lot of birthday announcements and fun things like that too. We had a wonderful experience here. Hope you do too if you decide to try it. :sunny:

We ate there a couple of weeks ago for lunch and enjoyed ourselves. My DW got the white pizza and I got the strumboli. My DD devoured here spagetti (picky eater). My DW and I split half of our meals we could try each. Very good not great.

The best part though is that we didn't even make reservations. This resturaunt seems to slip by the people entering the park. It's much better than most in the park. The atmosphere is nice, service is friendly, and the prices weren't that bad compared the the others. I probably will eat there again next time.

We try to book the latest lunch seating available...so that we are sitting out on the porch during the afternoon parade.....perfect!!! and in all honesty, we have been there three times and I can't for the life of me remember what I ordered to eat!!!! LOL!!!!

Oh dear, looks like we are in the minority but FWIW... we had a very disappointing meal at Tony's last month (dinner). We had a 5pm PS, which was restaurant opening, it was very crowded, they appeared to be staggering seating which actually makes sense so we had to wait a few minutes. When we were taken in the restaurant was still half empty and they took us to the worst seat in the place, a tiny table right next to the swinging kitchen door! We politely refused the table and were not greated with much sympathy from the host. We were offered the table one away from the first or go back in the lobby and get in the que! We took the table. Our food was fair, not awful but not great either. DH had Spaghetti with meatball, didn't like the meatball (very dry). I had NY steak (based on server recommendation), somewhat tough. Kids had pizza. We wouldn't eat there again. Should have followed our plan B which was go back to our resort and eat at Spoodles. Live and Learn!
:D

Don't worry vicb, we didn't care for Tony's Town Square either. We felt that the food was extremely overpriced and the food, to us, wasn't that spectacular for the price. When we compare it to Olive Garden, we prefer Olive Garden more.

I don't remember what the rest of my family had, but I had the eggplant parmisan and I didn't care for it at all.

A little story: When we were there they had a kitchen fire and we were very impressed on how the CM's handled the situation. They naturally had to close the restaurant to any new guests, but the guests that had their food could stay and finish their meal (we were one of those people). The only reason why we knew about the situation is because my DH is a fireman and he could sense what was going on by the actions being taken and when he asked our waiter verified the fire. So....we may not have loved the food, but we applaud the CM's for their proffessionalism and calmness during this situation.

We enjoyed our meal at Tony's. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is good. However I will be hard pressed to return. I just have a really hard time paying that much for spaghetti !:earseek:
I know it's DW and food is pricey no mater what and I expect it and normaly don't mind at all. But it's spaghetti! For the price of 1 serving of Tony's spaghetti I could make enough of my spaghetti to feed 50 people!

Ok that being said...If you are looking for a good meal, you won't be disapointed. We had our dinner there while the night parade was going on. We were sitting right near the windows and had a great view. It was a very nice evening over all (after I got over the shock of the bill:rolleyes: )

we were there at the beginning of February.... I had the caesar salad and my DH had a seafood pasta entree....the service was great and timely, but it was not memorable.... it was not like a WS restaurant, I would not recommend it as an evening dinner...... you can do better
