Does Anyone Know the Answer?

My DH and I have a question and I thought one of you might be able to help. For our upcoming trip, we plan to be at WDW for almost thirteen days. On day one we arrive mid-morning and leave early morning on the thirteenth day.

On our first day, we plan to go to the MK in the late afternoon, by using our MVMCP pass, rather than use up one of our days needlessly (we have 11 days on it) on our park hopper pass. However, we have the DDP for the full duration of our stay.

Does anyone know if we can begin swiping our card for our DDP on that first day, even though we won't be swiping the card for park hopping until the second day of our trip? I know they are two separate things (the park hopping and our DDP, though they are both contained on our Keys to the Kingdom cards), but want to make sure. I hope that makes sense.

Yes absolutely. We often grab a meal in the food court right after we check in, no problems at all.

Yes! We usually do as the PP does, grab something from the foodcourt before we head out for the first time. We have never had a problem.

Actually, you could use up all of your DDP credits at the resorts and never even set foot in a park. Your dining credits have nothing to do with your park tickets. Have fun!:)
