Does anyone know if the grocery stores sell

beer and wine? And if so, do they sell it on Sunday and is there a time they stop selling? We are taking a towncar or limo and during our grovery stop, we want to pick up some beer and wine for our stay in the villas.

We went to the Publix store not to far from DW and they do sell beer,wine and wine coolers, but not hard liquor. I am pretty sure that they sell it on Sunday's but after 10.00am. Hope this helps.

You will soon find that you are not in CT anymore. LOL. They sell beer and wine until about 2 am. They sell 7 days a week. Not sure about what time they start on Sunday. Beer and wine are the least expensive at Wal*Mart, hard stuff can be purchased at a little store next to Walgreens on rte.535 Not far from Crossroads. There is a state liquor store to the left of crossroads on 535, but their prices are very high.
I wish CT would expand their horizons a bit and follow the lead of Fl. and other open minded states. All this from someone who rarely drinks. LOL

Thanks! i was hoping that was the answer. Our family will be there for my parents 40th anniversary, my 19th anniversary, my younger brothers 1st anniversary and my other brothers 39th birthday! Enough occasions to celebrate? LOL! We definately want to pick up some wine and beer to save some money.

You are right Gail, CT has some different attitudes towards alcohol purchases. Glad Florida is more liberal!
