Does anyone know how the Military tickets work with the new FP system?

We sometimes get these vs. AP's but were wondering if we are staying onsite but have the discounted Military tickets.. would we have to wait until we get into a park to make ressies?

The Military Salute tickets seem to be working when staying on-site and you would be able make FP+ reservations ahead of time.

We were staying on site in December and had no problem linking our military salute tickets to our Magic Bands. They worked great. We got there and bought the tickets on Sunday and as soon as I linked them I was able to set up our Fast Pass Plus for the week. Super easy!

Thank you!! Were you able to get times you liked?? I know that people that buy their tickets with their room thru Disney can go in 60 days ahead of their arrival date and make those FP ressies.
