I wish I could find a recipe I had years ago where there was some sort of mixture of peanut butter, grahm cracker crumbs and sugar and then you poured a chocolate fudge on top. Anyone know a version of this? It was so good.
My mom made this every year for Christmas. We just called it peanut butter cups (even though it WASN'T "cups" but more of a square after you cut it up LOL)
2 sticks of butter
2 c. of confectioner's sugar
1c. peanut butter
1/2 c. crushed graham crackers
1 bag milk choc. chips.
...
Melt butter and pb on stove til melted add cs a bit at a time til incorporated. Once mixed, pour onto cookie sheet with sides. Melt choc chips in microwave and pour over pb mixture. Put in fridge for 1 1/2 hrs. til choc has hardened. Cut into small squares
I hope this is what you're looking for. It's not so much a fudge (doesn't have the texture of fudge, but boy is it goooood)

and has her own twist on the recipe, it's a bit closer to the one I make. As one of the previous posters said, it does have a lot of calories...etc in it but so does most of the Christmas candy LOL so I intend to enjoy it all in moderation and make only the recipes that we really really enjoy.
