Does anyone have a recipe for good, creamy fudge?

I wish I could find a recipe I had years ago where there was some sort of mixture of peanut butter, grahm cracker crumbs and sugar and then you poured a chocolate fudge on top. Anyone know a version of this? It was so good.

My mom made this every year for Christmas. We just called it peanut butter cups (even though it WASN'T "cups" but more of a square after you cut it up LOL)

‎2 sticks of butter
2 c. of confectioner's sugar
1c. peanut butter
1/2 c. crushed graham crackers
1 bag milk choc. chips.
...
Melt butter and pb on stove til melted add cs a bit at a time til incorporated. Once mixed, pour onto cookie sheet with sides. Melt choc chips in microwave and pour over pb mixture. Put in fridge for 1 1/2 hrs. til choc has hardened. Cut into small squares

I hope this is what you're looking for. It's not so much a fudge (doesn't have the texture of fudge, but boy is it goooood)

I made the fudge kit from Target (choc chips, milk, butter, mix, marshmallows) was yummy but imho NOT the same as the fudge on the back of the Hershey Cocoa cans (isn't on there anymore...but I kept a wrapper from many years ago in my recipie box) this really is the best fudge ever.....:goodvibes

Here is the one from the Hershey's Cocoa can. Since a couple of you posted how good it was, I wanted to try it since I have a huge can of it in the pantry!

I don't think I have a candy thermometer though. And, they comment how it's a very difficult recipe!

pantherlj -- That is a great recipe, but it is highly unlikely to turn out right on a rainy day like we're having today. The one I posted above is more forgiving since it has marshmallow creme (but less proportionately in it than the Fantasy Fudge) -- I got up early and made it today.

Super Easiest Fudge Recipe:

Chocolate Fudge

1 bag semi-sweet choc chips melted on stove
stir in 1 can of Pillsbury choc fudge frosting
put into fridge
done.

*have made in 8 x 8 pan
*have made in cookie cutters to give it shape(for a gift)
*have made adding mini marshmallows.....actual recipe calls for this.
* sometimes used colored mini marshmallows to make "cathedral window" fudge

Butterscotch Fudge

butter scotch chips melted on stove
stir in 1 can of Pillsbury vanilla frosting
add 1/2 tsp Butter Rum extract
optional: add diced/slivered almonds

Everyone loves the fudge, neighbors look forward to it, some teachers too.
I don't really let on how easy it is unless someone wants the recipe....then I'm happy to share.

I do this recipe also. I used to make candy boxes at Christmas for co-workers at my previous job and my boss would begin asking around Thanksgiving if I was including the fudge that year. I did the recipe with milk chocolate frosting and added chopped Milky Way or Snickers bars. Super easy and tasty!

You just have to be patient...its not hard....a candy thermometer really will make all the difference....hit the right temp...done...pour in the pan...no guessing.
It was tasty...been a long time since I made it;)

I just made this for Chanukah with my class and they all loved it. It was super easy and so rich.

Gelt Fudge

3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine chocolate chips and condensed milk in bowl and heat in microwave for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. If more time is required, continue heating in microwave in increments of 10 seconds. Add vanilla and salt and stir. Spread into a dish lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Cut fudge into desired shapes and wrap in foil. Refrigerate fudge until ready to eat.

This sounds crazy, but the BEST fudge I have ever had is made with Velveeta... yep, the processed cheese. It is the smoothest, creamiest fudge ever. I have not used another fudge recipe since finding this one. You can find it on the velveeta website by searching for Velveeta Fudge. For some reason the link that I am trying to post is not working.

I agree, it's the fudge recipe my Grandmother has used for YEARS and now it's all I make. So creamy....yummy yummy!!!! I've made the sweetened condensed milk one with melted chocolate chips and it's good but I still really love the Velveeta one.

The recipe on their site isn't like mine though, I use cocoa and there isn't karo syrup in my recipe? I don't tell anyone what is in it either, they have a tendency to just LOVE LOVE LOVE it until you mention cheese....LOL

Paula Deen also makes cheese fudge :) and has her own twist on the recipe, it's a bit closer to the one I make. As one of the previous posters said, it does have a lot of calories...etc in it but so does most of the Christmas candy LOL so I intend to enjoy it all in moderation and make only the recipes that we really really enjoy.

This fudge is really good. I made it a few years ago for Christmas. My dad came over and was hovering over the dish of fudg, eating piece after piece of it. He fell in love with it!!! I then told him what was in it......and he literally turned around and spit it out and never touched it again. LOL

This really made me laugh! :lmao:

Mmmm...sounds so good. Would you care to post your recipe?
