Does anyone else think Honey I Shrunk the Audience PreShow is too long?

It's also hard standing on the "angled" floor. People without leg problems may not notice, but it's much more difficult to stand on than a flat floor.

make you STAND there for watching a 10 minute long commercial for Kodak!

Come on now. It's not a commercial, it's a "grant from Kodak" :rotfl:

As corny as it sounds, I used to love that video and song. It was one of my favorite things at EPCOT.
I hate the new commercial... so yes, it is way too long!

Oh, man. It's been too long. I didn't know the True Colors opening was gone. Dangit. Well, that seals it. We have to go back more than once every two years. Let me go tell DW...

Out of all the 3d films, I feel that HISTA should be replaced with somethin else, something that wont become dated nearly as quickly. I love the other three films and the preshows are done well, even if it is only audio for tough to be a bug and philarmagic. The preshow for muppets is done especially well with the addition of the video. :3dglasses

Actually, there is pre-show entertainment in ITTBAB, but it's audio only, and the crowds there have gotten so loud and uncontrolled lately that you can no longer hear it. :sad1:

Plus, you've got those neat "movie posters" to look at. :3dglasses

LOL KittieKat! You put my thoughts into words better than I could have!!!!!
:rotfl2:

oh, just a tip (since it's what I tend to do)
they do show you how much time is left before the show starts and you can just time yourself so that you only have to wait 1 or 2 minutes. That way you can almost go straight into the show

I also liked the true colors pre show much better,,,the new one is alright but I hate when I have to watch to whole thing,,, I love it when we get there and its almost over,,,

YES!! I wouldn't mind a 10 minute preshow at all if it wasn't a 10 freaking minute COMMERCIAL. No you are not alone in this opinion.

As much as I loved HISTA (the virtual dog snot was my very favorite special effect of the whole trip) when I visited last year, I HATED the pre-show. It made me want to NOT buy Kodak products. I went on my last morning of a 5-day trip. I was tired, and nursing a blister on one big toe. Standing would have been bad enough, but that sloped floor started bothering my knees (which were not at their most cooperative by this point)fairly quickly. Despite the announcements telling me not to, I walked right over against the far wall and sat my butt down on the floor until they opened the doors. It hurt a lot less that way. I'd had a fastpass for this show, and if I'd known about this pre-show (and that the return time range was for the time the pre-show would run) I would have come back near the end of the return time, instead of at the begining. I know now, and so will do that.
As for the pre-show film itself, I can understand why some (maybe even most) people would like it, but I am of a not-very-sentimental-at-all turn of mind, and it looked to me like a whole lot of gooey mush.

Just reiterating....

All Hail Lord Kodak!!!

I bow down before his power!!!

I agree that the 10 min. is a bit too long. Loved the Kodak showing but my knees and heals were killing me! I wanted so bad to sit!!!! I was hoping everyone was going to sit on the floor, but they didn't, and its not like Im out of shape, heck Im a gym instructor! ;) thats my two cents~ Lynn
