Nope, I actually hate it more when we move to daylight savings time. We are so far west that it is light too late at night in the summer... I prefer not going to work in the pitch black as well like now. I think most of Indiana has the right idea... I think we ought to stop switching
Hate it, are you kidding? I can actually get the kids to bed at a decent time. No argument..."mom, its still light out"
Also I love getting into pj's early, reading stories to them, etc. To me this time change is when I get my break.
I don't mind it, but it take Stephen weeks to adjust to both changes. He was in bed at 9 last night and up at 4. In the Spring, he's tired all the time because he can't get past the hour he lost.
I hate coming home at 6 in the dark, though. But it's nice that it's sunny at 7 when I get up to work out. Makes getting up a little easier.
My parents and sister live in souther Indiana, and don't change. I have a hard time remember what time it is there. One hour later, two hours, I don't know !
I have to say, so far its been a positive thing for me. Instead of running the pitch dark now, it gets light about halfway through my run. Of course, this will only last for a few weeks and then I have a long time to go before I see light during my morning jog again.
Its not so much the time change thats bugging me this week, but the unseasonably COLD weather we are having. What ever happened to Indian Summer?
I live in Atlantic Time Zone. Our time does not change and when the East Coast goes on Standard Time they are 1 hour behind us. Which means DIS Chat is at 10:00 pm and so are the Soprano's. For someone who has to get up at 4:30 am, that's too late to stay up.
Well maybe if I take a nap on Saturdays, I can stay awake for chat
Yes, I hate this time of year!! It gets dark waaaay to early!! Sunday felt like forever..I know it's only an hour change but it seem like the afternoon dragged on. I wish we could stay on the other time. That's the time I love!!!
Well, it's always a relief to return to Standard Time. My sleep gets really disrupted in the spring. I love being able to sleep an hour extra, I think my body stays on Standard time all year.
I remember when I was high school there was a time when energy conservation was big. For a couple years they didn't switch off daylight savings time. That was in NJ.

My dad used to love the extra hour of sleep. I never get it! Instead of DS coming in and waking me at 7:30, it was 6:30. Not good on a Sunday!! So we ended up going to church an hour early. I'd rather sleep an extra hour.
